I really like the chorus2, Ive owned only K-horns other than the chorus2, when you dont have corners, go chorus. However I have been considering the belle, Ive always liked the way they look. The only problem is I can get anyone here to compare the belle to chorus. For the money of a VMPS Larger sub, that would be my choice if I were in your shoes, you can throw a lot of power to them to match the volume you will need with your 101db mains and the power your using for them. I only use a couple of watts with my chorus2s, when I use my sub.

Maybe cool, paint the hersey black, and BOLT IT to the sub. If you dont bolt it, the hersey will probobly vibrate off, and then you will have a simmilar problem as our fellow with the sub botomming against his stairway floor.

I had this happen to me with my sweet paradigm servo 15. When I would hook the x-30 crossover between the sub out on my pre and sub. I asked my audiostore about it, and they told me to not hook up the x-30 crossover to the sub out on pre, just run sub out on pre directly to the sub.Apperently I was crossin over to much.Any way if I want to use the x-30 I use it between the main out and amp, not the sub out. Never had a problem since. Althogh your problem is probobly the sub bottoming out against the bottom of your stairs, that will make a odd sound every time.

Tom, what is your opinion of the belle? I have been craving the horn loaded bass lately,that hard wood hit.With the equipment I have now, THe khorns have to sound sweet,but I have no corners. In the past with my khorns I had always used SS, now I "have the right stuff"

I noticed on audiogon there are a set of walnut cornwall 2s near me for local pickup{70 miles} any way, it has been 14 years since I have heard a set. Question, is the 2 the cornwall with the cool reflex opening at the bottom front of the speaker? How will they compare to my Chorus2, will it only add some sweet horn loaded bass? Is the horn loaded base from the cornwall2 the same rock hard bass drum tightness as the klipsch horn? Would I get a klipschorn bass sound from them, or would I be closer to the khorn with the belle. I have never heard a set of belles, but have always admired there look. I have had k-horns a couple of times before in the past, room will not allow now.Is the chorus 2 the one I should keep. I know there are a lot of favorits and preferences hear, but I want fact, not opinion, who has heard all 4 sets of speakers? If I dont need to change then I wont right now, but if Im missing out in the slightest way, there outa here.I move through gear like most people change shorts.
