I can totally understand and do agree w/ Pete. Working the studio w/ headphones can rip your ears apart. Doing the work I do, it is scary the day after, when I go back in the studio and realize what level I had my headphones at. Its so sad how my love for music has destroyed my hearing.... Beware of headphone volumes after twenty minutes or more of listening loud.

Jeff, Everything is ready. It is all up to our mutual scheduling, from here on. Fridays are my best days, since i am off. My tour heads to Austin Texas in two weeks...so that Friday is shot. This Friday is good, if you can come over before 5pm. I head to Hawaii two weeks after the Austin show. I just realized you are probably an 8-5 mon-fri employed person....true? What is your schedule like?

WOW- I never knew so many people on the Klipsch forum were interested in my Baldwin. By the amount of inquiries, it looks like somone from the Klispch forum will end up owning this GEM.

DADDY DEE, You are correct ;I swore I would NEVER sell this amp. Therefore Hell had to have frozen over. This Baldwin was my first tube amp purchase ever...and has sentimental (sp?) value to me. You know it is a sad day in "RockU" land, when I must sell this sleeper-of-an-amp. Whom-ever invests in this Baldwin will not be disappointed. I wish everyone on the Klipsch forum could have a listen to this one ! And, I pray the purchaser has Klipsch speakers, ...so he can hear how clean and true this Stereo Tube amp is ! Thanx for all the kind words about the amp. And YES,.... it is build like a battleship !

I have never understood why American don't ever place their health and exercise as a # 1 priority. In all my travels abroad, in every country I visit, the people seem to all be in great health and seem to be well fit societys. But, not us Americans. Everyday I get up and go to the gym. Everyday...! ..for I am scared of what may happen if I don't take care of myself. Just looking around me and seeing all the fat youths in todays society is so sad. No-one seems to care. Priority's ! Are you using the S/PDIF Optical Output from the cable box? I connected that up this week and HOLY-MOLE' Y...man-o-man...my system came alive when we were watching the football games this weekend., As far as your set-up..., what amp and preamp was used at the store that you liked so much? Go back and buy that, if it sounds better then your setup. Preamps and amps are not all created equal just because they have 'X' amount of watts. Good luck.

Who has used a A/V switch device before? -Any specific brand or model recommendations ? I have a stereo amplifier that I want to share two sources with. I want to make sure the switch box doesn't dimenish the signal . HELP !!!

With my Pio PDHP5050 (plasma) the signal is pure digital from the HDMI connected Elite 59avi to the media reciever to the monitor The Pioneer Elite 59AVI isn't true Hi-Def...is it? I think it just up-converts the signals via the HTML cable...correct? Or, does it play the new Hi-Def DVD's progressively?

I did call my Warner Cable company and they told me that the new Motorola HI-DEF box they swapped out with me, does NOT have the DVI-d port activated and that I needed to return that Motorola new box and swap it out for....get this... the Scientific Atlanta 3250 Box. Texxas Guy...you saved me some serious heart ache. Thank You , thank You , thank YOu ! LOL,,,glad it worked out. In my case, I bought the cable off Ebay before checking. Anyway, hope Warner Cable does not speak with forked tongue like Charter............Good Luck! How will I recieve the 5.1 transmition w/ the coaxial stereo L+R outputs? There are not 6 individual RCA coaxial outputs offered from the cable box for 5.1 transmitions.
