Christopher is suppose to return soon, I heard from daddy William, as soon as I find a mutual time we can co-ordinate. There is a waiting-list for my new clients, but past students get to by-pass that list anytime they wish to return. I have had my drum school established in Houston since 1979... ; 26 years of educating has placed me in front of over 2000 clients in my past. So chances are that if you are a drummer in Houston...you may have crossed paths w/ a client of mine. A perfect example of this is your brother and nephew. Talk about versitility. I fell that I am the one whom learns the most...having to adapt to every individual talent that walks thru my drum company's doors. Jeff, do you have any cd's or a demo of your drumming that I could hear ?

The VRD's are 60 watts per channel. Jeff, this gives you so much more headroom and dynamics. I have the Baldwin 6L6 tereo Tubeamp...but that is only 14-16 watts per channel. There is no way in H*LL that it can hold up to the VRD's , ...as far as power !

Jeff, Drumming is an emotion art. "Smoking" someone on the drums is not part of my language. I have made so much money in this industry by playing what the artist wants. Music is emotional and is all about the FEEL of the song's rhythm that you are conveying. Of course, drummers may want to compete against each other to see whom is the fastest or whom has the "trickiest" licks...but all in all it comes down to the feel of the rhythm ! Just because someone can play a drum pattern doesn't mean that they have it all together. It is how the pattern is conveyed dynamically that truly matters. Being a percussionist myself...I would use the Cornwalls as monitors w/ the drumz ....and use the KHorns downstairs w/ the movies. The fidelity of the KHorns is perfect for movies and the Cornwalls could be placed closer to the drumz , like stage monitors. What's your decision ? **Try my suggestion and see if it makes sense while your playing the drumz w/ your fav jams ! ** ~ Happy wood-shedin' to you !

Most definitely. The surround tracks are just a bonus that comes w/ the dvd. These guys really know what they are doing. If you don't like it...I will buy it from ya. Save your receipt.
