Hey klipsdude what are you running for amplification? preamp? cd?

So is it possible to stack la-scals without damaging them? Id love to stack them...mostly because of the limited space I have. Any objections to stacking them?

Come on guys, we all know that theears only has a limited number of pictures to show us: his rsw tower and a few pictures of his now sold sunfire subs. If he were to keep all his promises about the pictures he was going to show us....well lets just say, dont expect anything.

For TV that big, thing of using some nicer speakers. Those are multimedia speakers that were mainly designed for computers and small bedrooms. If you want something small, look at the reference bookshelf speakers or the Cinema 6, 8, 10. All from the reference line.

Yeah, come on! I did 400 miles for a pair of chorus speakers!

Space is the biggest thing for him, I sold him a pair of Heresy ii's in the exact same finish as the Chorus'. I'll have to look at them to make the final descision but will let you know how it goes and will definately take some pictures.

Definately, I love the RB'5's but lately I have been having so much gear pass through my house that I am trying to get just 1 system... speakers that are in and have gone through: reference 3's heresy II's RF-7's Rb-5's Cornwalls Chorus and soon a pair of la-scalas. They really give out the bass and once I give them the power they ask for, those little 8's really pump out the tunes. Definately a beloved set.

Its close, I picked up a pair of Chorus (400 miles round trip) and a friend of mine wants them for his mint la-scalas (had since new). I am probably going to offer him 200 + my chorus' speakers and see what he says. Hes close by, so it isnt a problem.

Whats a perfect pair of La-Scalas worth? Thanks Sebastian

Horns, Horns more Horns. Horn loaded speakers have much higher sensitivities: JBL, klipsch etc.... Put your hands to your face in the form of a horn and talk...it increases the volume! Thats the "basic theory". Let the others give you the real low down.
