  1. I've been looking at Rotel, and they match up good with Klipsch. They make a ra-1060 that a 60 x 2. lokks like about $699.00 also Marantz make the PM7200 that reads pretty impresive The Marantz PM7200 integrated amplifier offers music enthusiasts uncompromising audiophile sound quality and flexibility without the high price. The push-pull amplifier design, dual-mono symmetrical circuit layout with independent heat sinks for each channel, anti-resonant chassis, metal front panel, hand-selected components, and our proprietary HDAM buffers result in sound quality that is natural, dynamic, and musically satisfying. Although total output power reaches 95 watts RMS per channel, the first 25 watts are pure Class A, thus insuring stellar sound quality at lower volumes or with more efficient speakers. With gold-plated input and output terminals, heavy duty speaker terminals, and remote control capability, the PM7200 is the ideal centerpiece for an audiophile-grade music system. 25W/ch by Class A Operation 95W/ch by Class AB Operation Dual Mono Block Power Amp. 2. if joe doesn't want them let me know I would like a shot at getting them. Steve
  3. Clipped and Shorn ok i'll bite, where can you get a dvd like this How close am I to it being an art film? I picture it to be somthing like a kalydascope (sp?) image that would display across the screen. And I agree with what the others say it would be like something on acid. haha I would have no idea of how to guess the artist or artists tho. Your right I would think that this type of thing would be a big seller. Then again with the popularity of music vidios I am suprized that they don't market the videos. you would think they would make a dvd of various artest videos packed into one dvd. Steve
  4. but you can't have Ricks khorns cause were not letting him sell them. I'm having a hard time convincing the wife to let me keep the KG's in the livingroom when we do out addition and get a dedicated theatre. Consider yourself lucky, you got a wife that likes your hobby too... Steve
  5. Trey or Amy, Is there any way to find out what theatres in my area use Klipsch speakes? The theatre that I go to all the time use JBL. I was just wondering..... Steve
  6. Yes they are heresy's Steve
  7. dantfmly, I'm not out on the line anymore either. I work in mx control. This way I get to tell people what to do all day. But I do miss the excitment of the line at time tho. Been to the extreems with the hot and cold too. Bangor, ME - COLD, Houston, TX - HOT Steve
  8. cool another KG owner in the house. Steve
  9. come on Fini, you can give us another hint............... Steve
  10. The misses works from the house and is rarly gone on the days that I am home. Can not turn it up to where I enjoy it while she is at home, the office is right above our living room. She doesn't like the movies at their required volume either. She did watch The Incredible's at a good volume but when it was over she made a commit about it being too loud at times. Steve
  11. WoW, Well you didn't even leave a hint in your file names for those pictures. It's too bad you can't Google a picture. I don't have a clue what this is. My suspitions tell me ats some type of "art film"? Steve
  12. Thanks for your service. Be safe. Good to see another a/c tech in here. Been working on birds for the past 25 years. Your not stationed to for from my home. I'm just 30 mile west od Richmond. Steve
  13. I have the Marantz SR4500 running with KG5.2, KG1, and KV3. I am still getting to know this AVR but I am very pleased with its performance in our small living room. I had an old Sony srt1090 and it blows it away. It does have a limited number of inputs and you cannot costomize the display list of whats playing, but its a $400.00 amp its not going to have everything. Over all I am happy with the choice I made for the money I spent. Steve
  14. m00n, Remember colterphoto has a cammera and know how to use it. I would bet he has some pretty interesting pics that he has taken in his time as a photographer. I really do apreaciate the refresher course in electricity, if only the instructors would have used the sex anoligy all that stuff would have sunk in alot sooner. I took me about 3 years to get a good grip on all that stuff and now I don't use it often enough to stay sharp. Steve
  15. I'd love to have the Deeres if he's the generous type and just wants to give them away. Do you think the whirlly bird would make my commute from VA to TX any easier??? Steve
  16. Well guys, sfogg and ctbb took the whole stack all in the first two e-mails. Never thought that would happen. when I started going thru this stack it made me want to go out and buy a TT and keep them all to myself. But SWMBO nixed that idea, HAHA. I kept a list for myself and will replace the ones I want with cds soon. If I got back into TT I would spend WAY TOO much money that I don't have. Stick with cds for now. sfogg send me your address, customsteve01@aol.com Steve
  17. C.T.B.B. Sent you a pm If CTBB take the offer they are all gone with the exception of the ones sfogg wanted Steve
  18. sfogg Got your e-mail will respond shortly Steve
  19. I have 56 albums and no turntable for them to be played on. If any of you would like one or more of these, all I am asking is that you pay for shipping and possibly a small fee (about what they would bring on e-bay). Please send e-mails to: ssmith01@coair.com and customsteve01@aol.com Since I do not check my work email at home please send it to both. I had stated in another thread that these were in my barn in the workshop. Well I was wrong, SWMBO had put them in the office upstairs when we move in here. So these albums have always been kept in a climate controlled area and are in good shape. All have there original covers and I believe all have the sleeves. I will not guarantee the condition of any said album though. I am pretty sure they are all in good condition as far as I remember. Take a look and start sending e-mails. I will need your name and address for shipping. I do not have a Pay Pal account so I will have to have checks. I am not sure how to set one up. Some one let me know if its easy and I might do that. I just have never looked into it. If you send me an e-mail post it on the thread so I can keep up with who sent them. This will be first come first served. I just think they need a good home so they can be enjoyed.
