  1. Hey Larry , If your turntable stays very close to the speaker then the magnet force of the basspeaker can mess up the tracking of your tonearm.....the needle jumps out of the groove...and boom....boom.. Ben
  2. Larry , Just what buckster said ........definitely feedback.. It is only one speaker ? Set the right and left output from the turntable over ? See if it moves over to the other speaker.... Ben
  3. DVD concerts in 2 channel also! You are'nt the only one . I started DVD with a 5.1 system and a Yamaha DSP A1 amp with La-Scala's and Heresys. Never get the sound right . Now i end up with only the La-Scala's in stereo and no SUB . I think the industrie isn't ready yet ............just my opinion .....[] Yes , the Cream great performance .... Ben
  4. All that Boom Boom you hear in Car Audio is Noise Pollution . Totaly agree [] ...............So i am with you oldbuckster ! Okey , it is the bass what can make "music" spectacular . But at the long term i think music has to be more in balance............or something ? Ben
  5. Exactly , Some has told me you can't measure with your ears...................[] Bennyboy
  6. Al , I was thinking of a universal network or maybe a ALK junior. I was aware you have a network for the 4500 Hz crossover. But with the combination of a "ES 4500" and "ES 500 T" my wife would have mine suitcases ready.[] Ben
  7. Dean , "The extra extension is nice, but I think the real strength of this driver is on its low end." Exactly ! ! I have been waiting on mine tweeters for almost three weeks when i ordered them . Shipping to the Netherlands is real slow. Anyway , in the mean time i heard everybody talking about cymbals and the high end of this tweeter. But when i heard this tweeter yesterday on Saterday 18 march for the first time ................it was powerful. This means you can cross it earlier ............. i still like the K-400 Okey we have a difference of opinion about the AL-4 and AK-4. It was intend to be for 4500....................? But Dean and All , when you have a network ready for 4500 Hz i will be the first ! When you are a "technical" listener i think you will need a trac-horn with a Beyma. I am a technical listener and know i miss some detail in the K-400. But i like the sound the way it is. Thank you, Ben
  8. Wolter, X = cross O = over Crossover or network Om niet al teveel te hoeven typen op je toetsenbord [] For using simple lettercombinations for fast typing [] Regards, Bennyboy
  9. Well i have one , Only problem.......i am at the other side of the ocean !! Bennyboy
  10. Guys, When you have a material of 12 percent Glass you would not asked about different Colors ! Again , this is a high tech material and VERY difficult to mold . All different color options destroy the mechanical strengths of the material !!!! Because of the high percent Glass you need a strong molding machine . You will need a very high pressure to fill the product . Black because of the graphite will give you the best results......... Anyway , i could go on for hours.................... The man sure knows what he is doing ! The pictures of the mold tells me enough Bennyboy
  11. Wolter, "But why that question ? " I don't think you want to build something with a dome tweeter when you are used to horns............i think I see you are coming from the Netherlands......................like me.[] You can visit me for a listening ? Ben BTW nothing wrong with the Klipsch 2.1 ! !
  12. Be sure that they are the original weight at the beginning...........[] shame on you Coytee............ for such thoughts [][] Ben
  13. Bob, Thank you !! This is a high quality material . Ben
  14. Bob, The material of the Hornlens ? Is it made of glass fibre reinforced plastic ? Anyway, the pictures looks very good to me...........nice logo ! Ben
