    Receiver?

I am not sure which one to get. Input please. HK -AVR 135 -$299 Denon -AVR 485 -$299
  2. I was there last March. The weather was great. There was 5 of us myself, wife and 3 kids (ages 5,7,10) We did all 4 parks in 5 days. Yes the days were long 10 hour days minimum. And YES we were all tired at the end of the day. My brother lives 25 min from Disney so we stayed with him. I carried a back pack with food, drinks and snacks for all of us. Use the "e-pass" as much as you can it is well worth it.
  3. I use the Scotts 4 Step program. If I am planting seed I use starter fertilizer instead of Step #1.
  4. Denon AVR 1905 or 2105.
  5. OH YES!!!...Remember that "sound of no sound"...Those big fuelie motors poping and spitting. That was great.
  6. "NOTRO...I Smell NITRO!!!" I went to Englishtown in 1984 and 1985. I was the best sights and sounds I have ever seen and heard. I was a mechanic on a NASCAR modified here in New England for 4 years. The sound is NOTHING at all close to those "NITRO cars". NO surround sound system and TV could even come close to being there.
  7. Glad that everything went well and is improving.
  8. To set up picture and sound. Any suggestions on one and where to get one?
  9. Look into these! Denon AVR-485s (6.1)- $299 AVR-1705 (6.1)- $399 AVR-1905 (7.1)- $499 For the price the 485s is a great buy. I have a small living room 11'x14' and I will be upgrading to the 485s.
  10. Look back in this list there was a thread about this.
  11. I was wondering that same thing.
  12. I have (see below) and they work great for me. Enjoy your new system! When you're ready to upgrade from the Quintets keep me in mind.
  13. Last night I grilled two 1 lb Rib Eye steaks and boiled two 2lb lobsters. The wife and I had a very nice dinner together. The Klipsch's sounding off in the back ground as well.
  14. Very Nice. I was told to keep the speakers straight with the screen.
  15. The sub spec should have been 200 watt @ 3 ohm. The specs are from a 700 watt A/V receiver. I wanted to get the wattage from the 20Hz to 20kHz range. Is this possible with the info I have or do I need more? This receiver works just fine for me. It's a curiosity thing. Thess are the amp specs from the Denon A/V receiver AVR-485s that I want to upgrade to. 75 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20kHz, 0.08% THD) 110 W (6 ohms, 1kHz, 0.07% THD)
  16. Amplifier of a 700 watt A/V Receiver. All 5 channels: each 100 watts @ 6 ohm, 0.9% THD @ 1 kHz Subwoofer channel: 200 watt @ 3 ohm Muting Attenuation: 65dB Frequency Response: 40 hz to 20kHz +/- 3 dB Signal to Noise Ratio: 65 dB (Bypass mode) From this info can I get what the watts are from the 40hz to 20kHz range.
  17. I live in RI and I grille all year long. Maybe not as many days a week as I do from May-October, but I roll my grill to the door(8ft roll-up) of the shed and fire it up. Damn now I'm ready for a nice 1lb Ribeye.
