  1. The overall impressions of the site is good, Im' liking it a whole lot. My only suggestion would be to consolidate the speakers into their product classes as done previously. Just lumping all the speakers types into one page for viewing does not appear overtly professional especially if its merely showing the pricing between product a to z. A greater distinction on the site between Heritage, Referrence and Synergy needs to be made as soon as the visitor clicks on the speaker type so they feel the "value" of the item vs the speaker cost as a reason to purchase said items. Just my 2 cents.
  2. It looks good, more proffesional if I do say. However the images are taking forever to load.
  3. Title says it all. I would really love to purchase a set of Cherry colored RB 75's. I feel like this is a set that is getting harder and harder to find and for the money on the discountinued market could be one of the biggest deals at the moment. Ideas leads anyone? Also, can anyone tell me the difference between the RB 5 and RB 5 II as I cannot for the life of me see the difference on the sites spec sheet. Thanks!
  4. Mine came into day as well, several to be in fact. However the container was busted open when I got it....
  5. No kidding. Soon the world will all know through subliminal messaging that their is no other speaker than Klipsch. Global domination is nigh.
  6. sweet monkey jesus, to the zoo with that thing!
  7. And sell it on eBay for a quick easy 3 grand. Joe "everyone and their dog did it for the 360"
  8. Enough of the HD TV bull, how about word on the HD audio side of the picture. It seems that everyone has forgotten that the HD-DVD and Blue-Ray discs contain new HD audio formats however where are these new receivers capable of decoding these tracks? In my opion this entire "HD" venture is a massive waste of time, energy and resources. I am greatful that the audio world has a standard for HD content depsite the video/disc format war. However I will not purchase any "HD" item save for a TV (great for 360 gaming [] ) until there is true interoperability with ALL aspects of the HT experience. Joe
  9. I was able to A/B the 35's and the 82s the other day. The difference isnt night and day, however it will make you double take guaranteed. To me the 35's were more live in your face in the higher freq and a more pronounced bass. However in the 82's the highs were of course mellow thanks to the new horn. The midbass was very pronounced with the bass integrated seamlessly. The 82's are marvelous. If anything its a matter of taste now and Klipsch you have made it difficult. Joe
  10. Great review Jeff. It would appear the rest of the critics worldwide woudl agree with you as this isnt the bombshell film as many were expecting. Unfortunatley it is those who are less stable than "mainstream people" who will pick up on certaing nuances and customs and adopt them to add to their self security that in turn can ruin things for the rest of us.
  11. As far as I can tell it needs to be outfitted for use as a cruise missile to be remotely useful imo.
  12. Hey thanks Colter. I imagine in a years time I'll grab a new amp or 2 and then a pair of CW's to sweetness up the madness. Clarence, the locals threatened with retaliatory response if they did. its more cost effective for them to keep their door open atm. And yes, they are calling Klipsch for the woofer, two new grills and potentially 2 boxes for transportation. I would HATE to see a scratch on the wood veneer... its to purdy. Joe
  13. Today I am very proud to announce that I am a new owner of a pair of Cherry RF-7's. Got them at Ultimate today at a decent deal at 1400 before tax. They are floor models that will be picked up later this week since one of the drivers was beat up, they are going to try to replace it. It been a long long wait, and an audio rush that almost started with a Bose Best Buy purchase that was thwarted to Quintet 2's to now some of Klipsch best. Hurrah! Joe
  14. Ok it worked when switching to "Stereo 3". Thanks! I feel thought that unlike in 2 channel mode, I need to crank the volume a little higher to get the same response in "Stereo 3" that I originally had in DD. Ideas? Joe
  15. I had heard this same story before, over two years ago from a Bose owner who was proud to have the Bose name associated with USAF. However he failed to mention that the product was horrible as the story alludes to. I always thought it was true though it did come from one of their followers.
  16. I have the optical cord plugged into the DVD input atm. Would it matter "option" wise if it were in either or as I am under the impression that all plugins are the same in regards to optical in etc. I did go through the menu system as outlined in the manual with no luck. There is a menu I am supposed to pull up that allows me to change to Pro Login II however it doesn not appear on my system. Softwares is version I.00. Suggestions?
  17. Board members lend an ear, I finally added a RC-7 to my setup. I'm kind of satisfied, not wholly since my dealer only had a floor model to sell, and not in the best condition. I am currently using my 360 as a DVD player and have the system setup I believe properly save for one thing.... music will not play out of the center channel. Movies and games play perfectly, slightly overpowering my 35's. I'm impressed, however I would love to have music streaming through my new toy. How do I set this up on my B&K Ref 50? I have tried to setup to Pro Logic II or a surround sound mode yet to no avail. Could it be the 360?
  18. Thanks badboy for the interest! They are both in cherry in color in good to great condition. Both were floor models from a local authorized dealer in the Oklahoma City area. They are both about a year old. I will have some pictures within 24 hours or less. Joe
  19. Ya colter, this would be the stateside address [] The other one is for war games etc... Joe
  20. As stated, my pair of RF-35 are for sale as im trying to purchase a pair of RF-7's from my local dealer. OK, I should elaborate a little more. The towers are a cherry colour. I will have pictures available within the next 2 days. As well, they are located in Oklahoma City, Ok. PM me or e-mail me to make an offer. Joe
  21. This does bring up a good point. In regards to streaming, which would you prefer, a slim device or an Xbox 360 with Win XP MCE? Right now I have the 360 streaming my audio to my system, however I have no clue about quality and audio fidelity MCE presents. Anyone have further expxerience with streaming audio/video content?
  22. I would see if he would lower the price for you. I picked my pair up for $500.
