the cornwall has a much more extended bass response compared with the scala,the scala is a very fine speaker but I think we should be asking what kind of music preference Robotbreeder has and go from there.

Alan Parsons Project "I Robot" is a good all around choice for a rock album.

Well I just sold a pair of decorator cornwalls that came in raw birch and I thought they looked pretty good and I recall you being very interested in them as well? I think the time spent finishing the birch speakers seems to be more the issue than the birch itself,I have seen some very nicely finished ones as well as some that havent been given more that a 10 minute stain job.It was a way for people to still own klipsch without going broke, after all a klipsch finished in the most exotic veneer on earth sounds no better than the regular guys with the birch. It is the music thats the ultimate goal isnt it?

Ok folks anybody have info on a switch that will allow me to use two different recievers with one set of speakes,turntable,cd player etc.there has to be a way other than moving the 70 lb beasts everytime!

yep but for me thats part of the fun,trying different equipment constantly.drives the little lady crazy but I am at home and enjoying myself.

I am getting the urge for change again and am considering parting with my decorators.my system is in constant flux and equipment comes and goes at least once a year,I have the boxes and packing for these and will post more pics and info tomorrow if they havent been snatched up before then.also would consider partial trades,no speakers though,70s recievers etc!
