  1. It's a killer I tell you ! It's got great big teeth and can rip a man apart ! " Are you joking ? It's just a bunny . "
  2. Steve you may want to rethink that drink thing . I checked , and presently theres more than 19,000 of us , hope you have a strong liver and bladder !
  3. Presently I'm munchin' on the Klipsch forum , sure is tasty !
  4. Hey quoting my own post , How lame is that ? Seriously both have their strong points , and the Belles are also WAY more upgradable than the Corns . Anyone dissagree with that ? As far as the bass subject , true I wish my Belles dug deeper . But after I get over my annual tax crunch time I will be getting either a Velodyne HGS 18 , or the DD 18 if I can get a DD18 under $2,500 that is . Bass problem solved in a big way . The Belles are a PA speaker . True they are a refined PA speaker , so what ? And as far as looks go , have any of you seen a Belle and a La Scala next to each other ? I have , and wow , what a differance a small design change provide . Allright , I'm done with my mini rant so in closing I'll leave you with this little thought . In '86 I purchased a pair of speakers with better bass response than anything Klipsch has ever produced for $600 a pair . Cerwin Vega []
  5. Thanks Steve , I was kinda curious about your rub ingredients , and time differance between brisket and pork shoulder or but if any . It seems like brisket wouldn't require as much time .
  6. Cornwalls have much better bass , Belles have a larger soundfield and presense . I like both but the Belles just sound more like live music to me .
  7. Hey Steve , good luck down there , sounds like a blast ! I could use a few tips as far as brisket is concerned . ( without giving any of your trade secrets away of course ) I do seem to have the pork thing down though . Willy
  8. Chicken salad and club crackers just to hold me over till my queso chilli dip is ready .
  9. Amy's cool points just went way up . Gotta love a women that doesn't have a cell phone surgically attatched . If ya' know what I mean . []
  10. Wow , something else to see in Atlanta ...
  11. Hey Tom , where can I find the nerf bricks ? I used to have one ; darn thing looked completely real , but I haven't seen it in years .
  12. You know , I felt that the audio quality of the race itself was subpar . " And let's face it who actually likes NBC's commentary group ? " I did like the video quality , The contrast of the bright colored cars and overcast , to downright foggy conditions was surreal in HD .
  13. Did not care too much for 115db , peaks of 100db suit me fine ...
  14. No problem with either the dlp or lcd . You will find , as I did , that a Heresy center is just a stopgap . What your going to need is another LaScala or a Belle at center eventualy . My center Belle is the stand for my "50 dlp . Congrats on the score !
  15. Dean , you deserve a vacation man ...
  16. I agree , after all this is the Martha Stewart of audio forums [] , it ain't no Audio Asylum , if ya' know what I mean Vern .
  17. Hey Chris , try the photo bucket website . It works great , kinda like a photo resizing for dummies . Heck , it even helped me ... []
  18. So , I think it's safe to say most of us watched the Super Bowl , right ? Remember how bad ABC botched the audio on the Stones half time show ? Well right now I'm watching the Daytona 500 on NBC . The audio quality of the Bon Jovi pre race concert was excellent ! Now I'm not a fan of Jon Bon per say ; actualy I do have a copy of New Jersey somewhere around here [:$] , but whoever at NBC that was in charge of the audio Nailed It ! Also , while on the subject , Fergie from the Black Eye Peas rendition of the national anthem was one of the best I have ever heard . Again , I'm not a fan of the Peas , and Fergie has her good days and definitely some bad ones . But boy did she put her best foot forward today ! So why does the audio quality vary so much among the major networks ? ( Any of us that watched Monday Night Football through out the season knew we were going to be in for a rough ride come Super Bowl time . ) On the flip side however , James Caan's command of " Drivers Start Your Engines " , was so pathetic and uninspiring nothing aside from Mathew Macconahay sneaking up from behind and Goosing him could have saved it ...
