I really wanted the black ones. on that notes, here's the question.....Whats the best way to now show my Cherry 7's as black ones? thanks ---------------- Hmm , Considering that you could have gotten a used pair of La Scalas for the same price , I would say no . Did you buy these things for their shiney cones ? In which case I would say you might as well just paint em' black . I know I'm gonna offend some of you , but if they are not original or heritage , They are not Klipsch Speakers . It's a different company folks . . .
  3. Ok , Here's my cat Calvin . Pretty cool critter except for his love of getting onto all of my stuff . And now with my new Belles I have to shoo him out of the horn cubby hole . He seems to be stalking the tweeters ." Hey Get Out Of There You Little $#@^ (*%* !!! "
  4. Sorry I thought this was the show us your avatar thread , My Bad
  5. Wow , La Scalas in an 11' by 11' room . Reminds me of a childhood friend who back in 79 purchased a pair of La Scalas and put them in his 10' by 9' bedroom . It was so loud that it would mess up your equalibrium . What a great time .
  6. Hey Trigger , A few days ago I started noticing a hum coming from my mains and surrounds . My system has been in place for many years without a problem . I checked my grounds and cleaned all my connections and still the problem persisted . Today on a whim I plugged my power strip into a different wall outlet and Shazam no more problem . Might be worth a try .
  7. Hi Budman , Conrats on your sale of the Belles . I followed the auction on ebay . The bid history was paticularly interesting , especially at the end . Did you give your reserve to him ?

  10. You Obviously Haven't Listened To The First Three Albums , Lots Of Great Stuff There . Or You Prefer Paul Anka , Which Is Cool I Guess .
  11. Hi , Dig The Show . Much Better Than Idol , In That The Competition Is For A Front Man Or Women . Much Better Talent , " The Top Five Will Probably Outlast INXS's Reincarnation ! " , THE SHOW ROCKS
  12. Hi , I am going to have some glass tops made for my belles . I was wondering if I should use some kind of buffer between the glass and the speakers , or should the glass just go directly on top . Any Thoughts ?
  13. Got Lucky , 2 Belles Shipped Almost 3000 Miles . Custom , Somewhat Thin Cardbord Boxes . Belles Wrapped In Plastic , 1/2 Inch Styrofoam Between Speakers And Box . No Support On Bottom , But Lots Of Nylon Packing Tape On Corners And Seams . Belles Arrived In Perfect Condition . Could Have Been A Disaster . Freight Company Was Roadway . Yes They Sound Great .
  14. Dude , I've got the same sectional couch . Different color and fabric though . Sweet set-up Rock On !!!
  15. Hi , I ended up using American Freight Companies . They are basicly a broker and research which freight companies have space available , route , time etc... I paid $487.00 for shipping . I could have saved about $90.00 if I didn't have them use a lift gate truck to pick them up from the seller . As I said before do some research on freight companies because no one else would touch them for less than $800.00 . Considering the Belles had to travel more than 2900 miles , I am pretty happy with the amount I paid . Peace Out
  16. Hi Columbia SC , Shipping went off w/o a hitch . They are Beautiful and sound Perfect . Me Happy
  17. Hey , To everybody holding back from getting a pair of Belles , K-Horns or whatever because they are too far away . I just purchased a beautifull pair of `76 Walnut Belles from Tacoma Washington . I live in Charleston SC , " Pretty Far Away ". As long as you do a little research on freighting companies you will find that the process is not that hard . My Belles will be here Thurs. July 7th ," Just happens to be my 40th B-Day by the way Thank You , Thank You " , 8 days after they left WA ! I will let you know how it worked out . Peace and wear sunscreen .
