The longer I own and play this album the more I like it. Never was a big Eric Clapton fan, but I find as I get older, Eric sounds better, and better. He is now one of my favorites, dam n old Yardbird, that band had some guitarist's, wow. I did Onkyo once, and burned up 3 of their receivers, that's enough for me .............. I'm sure they're a better product now !!!!!

I started with KG4's because I couldn't afford Heresy's ................ had them 20 years, never said a bad word about them, then I got on this forum and realized my Stereo Sucked, and it's been down hill ever since .............. []

Let's try this, Back when alot of Classical music was written, was there Records, Cd's or Tapes ? I believe the answer is NO, but aren't those works still enjoyed today ? So what produced the Magic of that music ? ......... Dave, I stated on the last page your view was correct, warts and all .......... and garymd, seems if I don't agree with others opinions on this forum, people don't like it ............ There are two sides to every coin, all of us are different, and have different tastes and views .......... My comments were more about the state of the Recording Industry,which is in sad shape, than a CD vs. LP battle. I really don't care what a person listens to, I really don't. That's correct ................. After almost 30 years of collecting and playing Vinyl, this old dawg has had enough of Vinyl ...... Musicans make music otherwise vinyl would be blank .............. You don't need vinyl, CD's, or tapes to know the Music is the Magic ............... Go to a Concert, any kind of music you wish to hear .............

Music is played everywhere, even Classical ................ I'm sure your computer will guide you in the right direction. I have SPAC and Tanglewood right here within driving distance. I'm sure most people aren't near as knowledgable about music as you are ......... my point was, we spend too much time discussing what form of media re-produces music the best, instead of listening to said media. To me, Arthur Fiedler was the best conductor of the Boston Pop's, saw him live, but of course is no longer with us, and the only way to hear him now is through re-production. Your view is correct, warts and all .....

12AX7's are fairly inexpensive tubes ............. buy new ones, save the old ones .............
