Buy a big spread and sign a contract, expect to get positive reviews (even "junk" will be rated as "a good value for the money", or "promising new entry", or "excellent introduction to the audiophile world". Love 'em or hate 'em, that's how Consumer Reports got their start... by accepting NO PAYOLA in the form of ads.

What speakers are you used to using with your MC-2102? Tube Macs and K-Horns are usually a natural.

Cracked open my son-in-laws mid-80s Heritage Industrials today (painted a lovely ecru enamel). The XO is an HIE with transducers, transformers, and resistors? No caps? I didn't pull them, just looked. Any advice on bringing these to spec (or the need to)?
