Hi and Welcome to the Forum... I looked at the manual and it does state that you should have gotten a bracket. It looked like a thin piece of metal the same height as the speaker. If you purchased these new then talk with the store that you purchased them from. If these are used you might want to contact Klipsch customer service and see if they have some to sale you. Yea Ben is right, the Silver model just has a "pan" to catch the ashes on and the Gold has a closed catcher. I just empty it out when everything is finished cooking and the grates are cooled off. I just tip the entire grill over and get the ashes out that way. then a quick wipe down and into the basement it goes. James

I have two Weber grills, my One Touch Silver 22 is over 10 year old and my One Touch Gold 22.5 was purchased used and about 10 years also. I use both of these when I have cookouts, If I'm just cooking a few things then just one. My next charcoal grill I want to get this Weber Grill. James

I have to agree with djk here... The true answer to your "are they really worth $300" that is total up to you. What have the prices been like in your area, compared to these? Since you mentioned parting them out is that what you are planning on doing with them? James

Welcome to the forum... I have to agree with Bill and add, take a look around and listen to the main speakers. Then purchase the matching center for the main speakers that you want to get and over time you can switch out your current speakers with the complete set up. James

For that I'm sure you can find great Klipsch speakers and used would take your dollar even further. Keep the Cornwalls and get two pair of used Heresy for $400 per pair. Use one pair as your surrounds and a single as your center, you an use the other single for the 6 in a 6.1 setup. Keep the Cornwalls get a pair of Heresy for the rear and and Academy for the center... Still under be under $1000 and use the rest for a receiver or separates. Sell the Cornwalls and get the XL-23 setup, with the Cornwalls sold and the $2k it will be cutting it close if you get the 5 speakers but like always, cash talks and you still might find them used. Now I know you said the your room is 12x15 but I have a small room also and have my RF-83 setup in it, maybe 15x18. As far as receivers and separates go just look to see what you need to hook up and make sure you have that covered then figure what you might need in the future. The good thing about separates is you would only have to change the pre and the amps could be the same that you already have. Instead of paying top dollar every time for a receiver, but if you get a receiver that you like and don't need to add anything then you are good to go until the upgrade bug bites again. James

I do know what you mean about the 2 month backlog. Lucky for me I do have other receivers that I can use in it's place for the time being. That is another mess that I'm trying to figure out at the moment. I want to get my 4 receivers looked at first then get the Mac items done. This way I'll have something to listen to while they are each away. Do report back how the local guy works out for you. What kind of separates are you looking at getting? James

Andy, I'm in a similar situation with my Mac gear. I'm sure I can find someone local that would fix it but taking it to Terry is like getting the item new all over again. So my thinking is if my 2 items have lasted this long and Terry is an authorized Mac guy then I'm going that route just so I don't have to worry about it for the next 30 years or so. Again I don't know if I take it to someone local if it would sound any different or not last the same amount of time but that piece of mind of getting it fixed once and not thinking about it again or paying to get fixed again is worth it to me. Now I just have to find the time to drive down and drop off the items to him and I'll be set. You might also want to talk to Terry about what he can do cause it might not need the full restoration like you mentioned. If that's the case then see if he will look at and only change what's needed and that should bring down the cost. James
