  1. J.4knee, Someone told me that the county and city trains dogs in that area. Boy oh boy. That figures.
  2. If I had the cash I would also get a Mac. But if I couldn't ( I can't) afford one then I would build. Its alot of fun and before long, you will be the only person working on your computer.
  3. Dtel LOL, they look pretty fierce. I've heard storys but never had the pleasure. Keep'em coming Dtel. Your bound to run out of them before long.
  4. Thanks for the help Cecaa850. There you go Gnatnoop. I've always wanted an avatar. Its my duck.
  5. I don't know how to get or put a avatar in the square.
  6. JB it says it weighs 1lb and it cost $160 to ship because they ship by weight. Man I need to get a job.
  7. Give her a bath and comb her hair, afew good meals, she would be alright.
  8. My family buys Canon everything. Printers, scanners and Camera's. But here lately Canon is lacking something in there point and shoots in the $200 range. We bought my mother-in-law one in that range and it was terrible. Eats batterys. Terrible in low light (in doors)even with a flash. If you kick in another $100 amd get a Sony DSC H20. It has a good flash. Rechargable batterys and that were you will make up the $100. Big LCD. and the menu I believe is in full sentences. Very easy to use. Very good pictures indoors as well as out doors. I don't recommend many things but I fell strongly about this. I think when Camera makers went to 2 AA batterys they made a mistake. I don't think its enough juice to run a good camera, so it sucks them dry in a hurry. Thats my 2 cents. Good luck Amy. Hope I didn't step on anyones toes. I'm no expert thats for sure.
  9. Islander, the house cats up north must eat alittle better than ours. Really, alot of our cats get ate in the winter. Dtel that made me laugh. I think I've seen those tracks here in Mo.
  10. Winchester, I was hoping you would respond. Here in the Ozarks you hear the same thing from the Conservation Dept. They say there is no cougar in this area but there was one killed in Branson Mo( Around that area) a few years ago. And our lady who lives down the road said she seen one. She live right on the river. Her husband says she is crazy LOL. But hell who knows what comes up and down them rivers at night. I've heard some pretty wild stuff myself.
  11. Maybe Bigfoot, probably a dog. The river is about 75 yards from our house. We hear all kinds of sounds at times. But the tracks were so large it made my imagination run. J.4knee, Big Stew, thanks for the response. We did find the small mouth. Had to wade the water. My 8 year old son ended up swimming so I had to as well. Cold cold cold water but we had fun.
  12. My son and I were walking the river looking for a good place to fish for small mouth and seen these tracks. They were 3.5" wide. They might be just a dog track, I don't know. Kinda of the beatin' path for a dog. I will try to post a picture.
  13. Good luck Big Stew. It'll work out for ya.
  14. Pete, thank you for this thread. I would like to build three cornscala's before the year is up. I have always wondered how the wood horn was mounted. I'll have alot of dumb questions and hope you or someone will take the time to answer them. I'm real interested so thanks again.
  15. Well said my friend. Hope this year goes better for you. Happy Easter.
  16. I bi-wire and bi-amped with my Yamaha and I had alot of fun doing it. At first I thought I could hear a difference but it was all in my head. I think changing the spark plugs in my lawn mower did about as much good. It is fun trying. You might not be satisfied until you do.
  17. Thank you for posting. I cook out alot and use Kingsford. They burn hotter (except for lump) and longer than the others. Why would you change that?
  18. My wife has a lot of cats too. All outdoors. The numbers increase in the summer but it gives the coyotes something to eat in the winter.
  19. I had a Denon reciever that pushed 80 watt and I ended up with a blowen center channel tweeter. A dealer told me it was lack of power and told me about the 663. I got it. It helped, I could tell the difference but I was still having trouble hearing dialog. So I got the XPA 3 and I have no trouble with anything. My little RF 62's sound large. I'm very happy with my XPA 3. One day I will upgrade my speakers and I will still have the power to push them no matter what they are. Good luck
  20. Wonder why he wants to get rid of his amp?
  21. You can never have too much power, sort-a-speak. You can get a lower priced reciever ( with pre-outs)and amp.
