  1. That is NOT the opinion I told you to have!
  2. What is it 2-3 days after test before results are known? Hope it's negative for the current scare.
  3. Not everyone. Just ordered another 1,000 rds 5.56 and 9mm. I actually wanted to order a couple of weeks ago when I was checking out my stuff unrelated to any current news but never got around to
  4. Are the ones you are trying to match factory stained? If so they look like walnut plus age.
  5. Perhaps you have seen THIS We have a crime scene cleanup company coming to disinfect 2 aircraft that a crewmember who had might have maybe came in contact with a person with symptoms.
  6. We have had the Toto Washlet for about 12-13 years
  7. ANYONE that enters our facility that is not an employee must respond to a questionnaire prior to the visit. If all 5 answers are "No" it takes a level 5 manager or above to authorize the visit. One "Yes" and it takes a company vice president to authorize and I doubt it would be approved without a great need to have that person on site. This started last week and I had 2 guys on the way for a visit. They had to hole up, answer the questions and then proceed. Once on site they said that they were a little taken aback when they read the email. We are having difficulties deploying crews to some places while risking not only their health but the chance that a crew member might have an elevated temp for any reason and get quarantined in whatever country they arrived.
  8. My son just had his spring semester turn into online only. He is a bit concerned about labs turning into many long essays. Me? Paying for an apartment that he doesn't have to use when he can do the work here.
  9. I am not a biological engineer although that is my son's major and we have conversed. Everyone needs to cleanup, wipe up and stop social media BS, That makes any additional posts to this thread by me...not happening; good evening
  10. Yes but you have to know the actual life of the virus germ on (different) surfaces that you may touch and THAT is an issue with the media; as usual.. Why is this different from some other slob sneezing on a WALMART keypad?
  11. This statement is what the world's media is shouting and is totally false. It depends on the the surface that the expectorant lands. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html
  12. I can honestly attest to this statement. I stood in cesspools of human and animal waste almost hip deep in an effort to remove this aircraft. Osborn, I choose to not refer to him as an officer in the U.S. Navy should have been held accountable not commended. https://stationhypo.com/2017/04/01/lt-shane-osborn-looking-at-a-miracle/
  13. Flippers? My son, freshman at Texas A&M, on spring break just got this word: There is a new update regarding campus response to COVID-19. Texas A&M suspends class Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17 and will resume March 18. The University remains closed for Spring Break March 11-13. Please be advised that classes will not resume until Wednesday, March 18 to allow for planning and logistics to ensure the provision of all university services in the most efficient, effective and safest way. Dining, transportation, health, counseling and other services will be available on a normal schedule Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17. Received an additional message from his BIMS professor to get your *** to class.
  14. Actually yes, I am. In my position I send several groups of folks weekly that interact with folks outside of the US I answer to mother corporate, collective bargaining agreement and personal integrity and not in that order. I tend to go over the line in a restrictive, safe process but not extreme on any risk, medical or otherwise. Operational Risk Management This subject is a matter of local, national and international teleconferences daily.
  15. You present no independent nor proven data. You present a person on social media. On the inner web, must be true! Based on my personal physician, CDC and my corporate medical staff's research an individual must exhibit every symptom AND meet contact requirements to be considered a candidate to be tested. Do you know what those are? To date there are not enough accurate test kits available to test every individual showing up with a runny nose. Chill the hell out.
  16. Please show the data you present related to demographics in unadulterated form People have a cold People have the flu Test kits are not available and are not presented in mass Show relationship to this and any other epidemic / pandemic with qualified raw numbers based on demographics
  17. Drama and expectations. If you have experienced it you know what I mean; if not then we won't be able to cross that bridge holding hands. Once we cross that bridge we will have a drink because my feelings are not about you personally. Oops, I spoke for someone else.
  18. The political climate of Austin (once a very great city) welcomes them in the same manner as California cities. I am not a fan. You need help? It's available. You want a meal and roof but don't want to follow the rules of the host then screw you and no one should EVER slip you money at a red light.
  19. Darned if I remember but that term sounds familiar. I was pretty close to the campus.
  20. All have their experiences. Wife worked at the Stanford campus branch of Bank Of America. We lived in an efficiency apt for $600 a month in 1979 with a base pay of ~ $700 a month + BAQ/BAS. Moved to San Jose for a cheaper apt. First night I flying a mission there was a murder in the adjoining apt. And on and on Years later I returned to Milpitas as a single guy, lived in a house on a cul de sac. We hosted a party for some folks graduating from a demanding course. I personally knocked on the 6 doors in the neighborhood to invite the neighbors and to ask forgiveness for the noise. Everyone shut the door in my face. Screw a whole bunch of California!
  21. 5 years in Palo Alto, San Jose and Milpitas.....I will never, ever take my body to California again. Why? People, prices and attitude.
  22. I am not sending them anywhere, just cleaning up their crap. I do know for a fact that other cities are sending the problem to our town. If we (the volunteers) can establish that the folks have family where they will be accepted bus tickets are purchased to send them.
  23. Had to have a cocktail. Spent the last two days cleaning out vagrant camps in our part of the world. FRIGGING NASTY; burned my clothes.
