  1. Sorry Jay gotta keep them for my Heritage collection I am putting together. I'll keep a lookout for you another pair.
  2. Hey guys still looking for a set of Khorns for my collection. Please keep your eyes and ears open. Thanks for your help! Todd
  3. I just bought a set of 80's models in good shapre (one Owner) for $675.
  4. Yamaha builts a great sounding and reliable product. I sell them with Klipsch all the time. The video processing is great and they sound good too. Someone was on another thread the other day comparing the Yamaha and HK and I gave the my 2 cents.I have done the Sony ES and Pioneer Elite as well, but it does not compare. The Denon is a good match for the Yamaha. You guys just confirmed what I had been saying. Enjoy the Yamaha it will give you many many years of trouble free service. Todd
  5. Well the other guys have you audio questions covered, but as far as the video goes, The Elite Kuro (penetrating black) in my opinion it top notch. It is always my go to tv if it is in budget. But I will tell you the Samsung plasmas are a close second for less $$. Todd
  6. Pete I have sold several of these. It is a nice projector for it's age (720P). These models have a short lamp life (1,000 hours if I remember right) and like most projectors the lamps are expensive. Also I do believe Runco is no longer offering repair service on these. If it were me, I would pass. Hope this info helps. I think it sold for about 8 grand new. Todd
  7. The Belles shipped from Utah today. Keep your fingers crossed they make it in one piece. Hey Bill I found a link on here about model numbers but the Belle finish on these was not listed. Damon said he dad ( who bought them new) said they were Mahogony. The model is BRL??? The link on here showed Rosewood and Laqurered Birch codes, but this code was not mentioned. Guess it will be a suprise. Still looking for a set of KHorns..
  8. Been using Yamaha and Klipsch together for over 20 years and have great results. I also sell Denon. I feel the Yamaha and Denon are a better built and better sounding product than the HK. The difference between the 663 and 863 are HD radio, extra HDMI input (3 rather than 2), extra digital audio inputs, 1080P upscaling thru HDMI, and the 10 WPCx7 you mentioned. Both are great sounding receivers. Todd
  9. These pices are really cool. I remember seeeing some of the stuff when I visited the museum in Hope.
  10. Really cool pics. Would love to get some cool Klipsch pics for the room. Blow them up and frame them. Any pics anyone would like to share please email them to me. Thanks a million, Todd
  11. Personally I would opt for the rf. Those long strings can miss as well. I am just not a big fan of Universal rf. It works when the tech leaves then at some point developes problems with the rf being reliable. I just about went broke running service calls on rf base stations..lol.. I will admit they are better than in the past, but they still give us heck sometimes.
  12. Sorry I posted before I saw the link to the pics... FREAKIN AWESOME! That is one hell of a setup. I know you are pround. Two thumbs up for a job well done. What is Roy's last name? Todd
  13. What are you using for cenrt channel and rears? Are you using the Jubilees for LC's? Powered subs?
  14. Whats being used for the low end in these babies?
  15. That is one awesome sight Bill. Not sure if I have ever met Roy. How do I contact him? I am really getting into research on the old stuff. Alot of it made before I was born. Pretty neat.. Todd
  16. Right on dg. Definitely set the reciever to small speakers (High Pass Filter). Doing this will dramatically increase their power handling. We put 100WPC on them all the time and have never had a failure. They are a nice sounding little speaker. I A/B ed these against a Paradigm compact speaker and the Klipsch blew them away hands down. Todd
  17. What were the Jubilees compared to regular KHorns?
  18. We have not had any 2 channel connected in the store in years. HT took that over several years back for us. We do alot of HDTVS and theater systems, along with distributed house audio. I'm excited about it. I might cheat alittle, I bought an SW15 new back in the day and still have it. I bet I hook it up with the Heritage gear.. Todd
  19. Hey Bill refresh my memory on the Jubilees?
  20. That sounds better. I had never heard of a laquered raw birch.
  21. Ok Guru's these are rmodel BKBRL is this Belle Klipsch Birch Raw Laquer? Best I can come up with.
  22. Well hello Dave, do you remeber who was here in those days. I went to work for Bruce in 1985 as a car guy and purchased the store from him in 2005. All we sell now is Klipsch. Who needs anything else?? Great to hear from you, if you are ever in our neck of the woods, please give my a shout. Todd
  23. What size screen are you looking for? Projectors have gotten cheaper and better. What about ambient light in the room? Also regarding LCD's be careful here, don't buy just based on 1080P you make sure it also has 120hz processing. This eliminates motion blurr common on LCD displays. Todd
  24. Ok I sell Universal and sell alot of Universal. IR only solid as a rock. If you need rf features they are very hit and miss. Dosen't really matter on model of remote or rf base. If I have a budget customer ir only I go with Universal. For the last several years we have used RTI (Remote Technologies Inc.) for rock solid rf performance. Just our experiences, yours may vary... Todd
  25. Us men are proud of our manhood. When is the last time we bragged about how "small" of subwoofer is!
