  1. wouldn't that create a backwards masking effect on the music? oh that stairways not going to Heaven.
  2. i sure hope you meant a beer brewers shirt--only baseball shirts i'll wear are San Francisco Giants and possibly Oakland A's (since it's my hometown team).
  3. you guys are not looking at the obvious--invest in a sledge hammer and knock out any walls that are in the way. problem solved...now what's for dinner?
  4. doesn't anyone use a brass monkey anymore?
  5. last time i did ribs, i used a 2009 toyota tundra doing about 20 mph and my ribs went right onto that grill. i don't recommend this method as the ribs tend to break and fall apart, and it's generally price prohibitive as i think it cost about $40,000--i'll bet i could have bought an awful lot of McRib sandwiches for $40K..
  6. really hasn't been very hot this summer here at the socal beaches.
  7. some pretzels and green olives for dinner. went to car wash, bought some clothes, came home watched two episodes of Pawn Stars, and hell's kitchen. excitement meter isn't even registering.

    for Fini

well, i finally met Ms. Right last night...unfortunately today i found out that her first name is "Always."
  9. haven't ate at home in a long time--i kinda miss it. going out ain't special anymore.
  10. Waiting to hear how it does, sounds good ! I use the gallon ziplock bags alot, I use them to marinate chicken. The one I have in the refrigerator right now is soy sauce, cayenne pepper, tabasco chipotle sauce, brown sugar, old bay seasoning. It should have a little kick with the amount I put in there, been wanting some spicy. I usually defrost the boneless, skinless chicken put it in the bag with whatever I think of and refrigerate for 2-3 days, don't trust it any longer. You never know what it's going to taste like, chicken it not easy to get flavor into the meat, I was a little surprised by that. it does sound better than the fast food joint hamburger that i had for dinner...although the burger was pretty good too.
  11. had to go to the store for a bottle of maalox tonite--chinese food for dinner tore me up. hope everyone is doing well.
  12. 29 years of listening to klipsch heritage speakers at obscene volumes has pretty much created it own noise cancelling system. now if they'll just start making hearing aids! deafness by enjoyment.
  13. back in the day, i smoked things grown in the yard many times--guess i was just lucky []
  14. Hope it's approved and works. I have two herniated disks in my neck that are giving me fits, don't think therapy will help; but, i'm going for some vice getting the shot. Best wishes for you to feel better. Steve
  15. if you decide to love her more than you want to be right, you'll be okay.
  16. it's our good friend ace checking in--nice to hear from you. seems like a quiet friday here at whatever this pub is called--have we ever given it a name? Happy Friday gentlemen. **Steve**
  17. Greg, that just wasn't fair to post that picture. Those look amazing! Steve
  18. well buddy, you are more than welcome anytime. Heck, i'd be so excited to have company, i may even buy some dishes. I don't think I've posted this tragic news; but, my only utinsel, my dearly beloved fork, has met its demise. if you can get past the stupid high housing cost and the ridiculous taxes, it's not that bad out here. We have pretty good weather most of the time. You can take Christy shopping on Rodeo Drive and buy her something real nice. You can go home and tell people you walked down rodeo drive eating a bacon sandwich. ** Steve **
  19. i still owe the IRS and am paying off my divorce still...getting ran over again doesn't sound too bad. I say that now after the pain has left my body; BUT, for a while there, it sure was miserable.
  20. the dtels eat good--i've seen pictures and heard some stories. since i eat out every meal/every day; perhaps they'll put in a drive-thru?
  21. congrats cal--i love swordfish and bacon; but, not a fan of the chocolate; in fact, i've been chocolate free since '83 (after a particularly fierce asthma attack to which i drew a connection to the massive amount of chocolate that i ate), I would take a beautiful british woman to get me to eat chocolate again, But, I'll take bacon covered with more bacon.
  22. nice to hear another Close to the Edge fan--their best album in my opinion. perhaps there is a klipsch seller in fresno or modesto. haven't checked craigs list lately; but, last year i was seeing quite a few good deals in the bay area.
  23. i wonder if he remembers what he did when he was 64
