You know for a bunch of guys that i've never met--you're all ok. thanks for the kind thoughts. I've found that my klipsch computer speakers are doing a very good job filling this one-bedroom place with nice music. i sent the Synergy F3 setup to my brother to use and i'll probably get a center channel to go with my heresy's and use that here at the apartment.

Well, "house" isn't exactly accurate. Some of you know that after 26 years my wife decided she didn't want to be my wife anymore. So, I've moved into a one-bedroom apartment. it's kinda a blast from the past, as my apartment is starting to look just like the times when i was single. i'll need to correct that fast. Just got set up with internet today. Hope you all have a fine weekend. it's cold & rainy here in southern California.

OldBuckster, i always see you mentioning rolling rock, and i've never tried one. i think i will give one a whirl. personally, i give a nod to our forum brothers to the north--i love canadian beer, especially moosehead; but, i'll take a molson golden too. tonight, i stopped at a liquor store on my way home from work (i only have two mooseheads left in the fridge) forgot that the store stopped carrying the moose, so i ended up with some heinekens. i lift this cold one in honor of my klipsch forum friends. here's to you my friends.

how did you like that one? in the early-mid 80s i enjoyed yukon Gold, but can't find it anywhere anymore. i'm a Lager man and I really like Canadian beer (Moosehead, Molsen).

i grew up listening to my dad's kingston trio album. in fact, i got a few of their songs in my itunes collection.

we do pay a steep price to live here; but, the weather is great. in less than a two hour drive from my house, you can snow ski in the morning then surf in the afternoon. Personally, I love the beach. Nothing more relaxing than spending some time sitting quietly and watching the waves. California has lots to offer--yet still no Pilgrimage.

1080i has not been a problem for me. infact, some channels are so clear i wonder how could it possibly be better.

No deep meaning here; but, as a kid I would watch my uncle and grandfather pour themselves a drink and my uncle would lift his glass and say, "Salute." Don't know what it meant exactly; but, my brother and I find ourselves doing that in memory of my uncle and grandfather.
