  1. I forgot to post the end result.
  2. Coming along nicely.
  3. It's my pleasure. I cook often and love doing it.
  4. Southern fried chicken and dirty rice tonight.
  5. Can anyone recommend a good non-professional soldering station? It's for general home use. I would like multiple tips and variable power in the $100 dollar range. Thanks in advance.
  6. WooHoo! It works and I saved myself over $400!
  7. I wish you guys could taste this.
  8. I guess I'm not even close to a vegetarian. Oh well.
  9. Personally I can't fire the grill without throwing on some chicken.
  10. By the way, Sam's has VERY good steaks. Over here anyway.
  11. How about some ribeyes tonight while listening to Sirius Classic Vinyl?
  12. I think it's trial and error. My 5.1 is all in ceiling speakers including the sub and I run the mains at 50hz. To my ears it's a little richer and I don't have any bottoming out issues. The sub is cut at 70hz. I have tried several combinations and this is where it sounds best to me. You should try several scenarios in my opinion.
  13. Oh, I want them but am about a week away from the funds and a bunch of miles away from the merchandise.
  14. I just picked up an RPW 10 woofer. I plan on doing a sealed enclosure and was thinking 1 cubic foot. Does anyone know enough about the driver to suggest a sealed box size? This sub-woofer will be on my patio. It will be driven by a 150 wrms sub-amp.
  15. What's the price if you decide to keep it?
  16. It might be worth while to give it a listen with your LS.
  17. Sadly due to moving the LS are gone. I'm starting to think Heresey's are in my near future and the HK will run them. I am confident it will do a fine job.
  18. Our tastes must be the same. I simply loved the 3490 with my LS. I think the soundstage and imaging were hard to beat. The 3490 now does duty in my garage paired with JBL 4311's. It simply rocks that space.
  19. Kimba, Michael Maple is a very smooth light colored wood with no real distinct grain pattern. Ash is a lighter colored wood but with an obvious grain pattern. Yeah, why are you selling such a beauty? What Youth said. Good luck with your sale. How's the family? Bill That red oak is sexy!
  20. I was able to order two of these from Digikey for less than $25 including shipping.
