  1. as Justin showed. They are the same as the KSB-1.1 The cabinet and other parts are from a different vendor. Thus the different name...
  2. Yea, That's about it... One pr of wires to the woofer / LF section and the other pr of wires to the mid/tweeter /HF section...

  6. Parts can get you the spikes... 1-800-554-7724 opt 3
  7. I found out that the binding post that fits most every speaker after 93' is the 113068 BP-3 . It may not look just like the one that came on the speaker, but it should fit in it's place.
  8. For the record:::: We love all of you out here on the BB. But sometimes we run into folks that are demanding to say the least. When I first ran in to Keith about a year ago. For quite some time he called once a week, if not once a day. After 2-3 months I had began to believe that we had a stalker on our hands(he called all most as much as he post) So after a bit Keith was placed on the stalker list. That is the list that gets called back or emailed last. Thus the reason it takes Keith so long to get answered. For the rest of you, we try to get to you as soon as we can. Most of the time in 24 hrs. Keith, if you still have problems, send them to me in triplicate and notarized and I will answer your questions the same day I receive them. Now that I have had a bit of fun at Keiths expense, I havent seen a mail from Keith of late. I may not have gotten your mail. Please do send it again to trey.cannon@klipsch.com and I will answer you as soon as I can. Keith I hope you know I still think of you as a friend.
  9. They are ratted at 100Watts continous. They were built in the 30th week of 84' I wish I had the $. I need a few more...;}
  10. I think we have what you need. 113008 or 113056 (bp3) call parts and order. $8 a pr I think....
  11. Tommy, If you want to have the Insurance Co. call me I can confirm what speakers we build today can take the place of your old ones. I wish we could help more Keep in touch.
  12. Maybe you have been trying to talk to the wrong people. If you need a part or a piece to repair a part, you will need to contact the parts dept. 1-800-554-7724 opt 3 or email to parts@klipsch.com Odds are your tweeter is NLA. But we should have the parts to fix it, if it can be fixed. Your Belles should have k-77 drivers or k-77-m drivers. Both are NLA The driver we now have is the K-77-F, The diaphragm is the same, but the magnet is not. If you use only one, you will hear a difference. I was out of the office last week, If your mail or call made it to my desk, you have not been answered. I should be in MON. and will do all I can to take care of everyone. I try to check and answer my mail even it I am not at work, So please try me again. I cant give you prices, Parts will have to do that.
  13. The ruler was to measure that movement of the woofer. I dont know if it ever has been played. There is a La Scala somewhere, or so I have heard. This one is built like a "D" style. Justin, I see how you are. And to think I just about had "Them" convinced to bring you in as a intern next year...photo shop, my woofer wires...
  14. The Mrs. and I were able to go to the New Mexico State U Home coming a few weeks ago. This is one pic of 2 rolls I took of the musuem. I just wanted to show Tony that it is real....
  15. My wife loves to shop, She would have fun getting all the ladies together and going shopping... Leaving us boys to play /
  16. If you have a speaker with a K-55-M mid driver you may not want to use the AA network on it...The "M" is a bit "hotter" than the "V". You may not like the change. The Belle started with the AA then went to the AB last to the AB-2. We are working on the AB-3 now... The AA was crossed over a bit low, thus the change to the AB. There was no LF crossover in the AB, allowing the cabinet to roll the woofer off on the high end. Thus the AB-2 over all a much better crossover. Of course driver changes played a part in the crossover changes. The La Scala with the AA prob. has a different mid driver than the PRO LS. The 43 woofer will sound a bit different as well. You can use the AL on the 33 woofer, but not the "V" mid... IF you want them as close as you can, make the LS woofers the same, mid the same as well as xovers. On the BK use the AB-2. If you need the schematics let me know.
  17. The woofer you are talking about is a k-8-k or a k-9-k One is 4 Ohms the other 8 Ohms You would not want to use these woofers in your kg-3.5 It will not fit or work as it should. The woofer you need can be found from the Klipsch parts dept. I don't have the part number at home or the price, but the parts dept can help
  18. As most of you know, I am now in Indy. After living in Hope for 20+ years, I really enjoy Indy. There is a lot to do here and many places that have Klipsch as their speaker of choice. The Lab in Indy is one of the most advanced in the U.S. We have 5 listing rooms, a full chamber and a half chamber. A complete prototype lab where we can build a finished speaker to test. (From the plastic parts to the paint.) The new part of the lab is 9000sq ft and the whole building is 27000sq ft. The library is one of the most complete in the audio field, dating back to the early days of audio. Even the décor is cool, designed by one of the owners, Judy Klipsch. PWK is remembered and honored in many ways on the Eng. Floor. As in the last visit, if this happens, I will be honored to help. We had a blast last time! I felt that I made many friends due to that trip. I even found a co-worker(FYI: stevep, from this board, is now the Aragon Tech support hear in Indy) Steve is a great help to us here. Not only does he take care of Mondial, he backs Matt Whatley and myself up on the Klipsch support lines. I know you all would love to see the plant and museum. Heck, I would like to see the plant again too. They have done a lot of changing there in the last year. But, other than the plant, I think you all would get a better idea of what Klipsch is and how a speaker comes to be, in Indy. Therefore, I (as a charter member of the Klipsch Fan Club and not a Klipsch employee) vote for Indy. Plus, if you come up here maybe we can get Indyklipschfan and Matt to play and sing for us. JimG (one of the moderators on the board) has a great band and gigs all the time, he is one heck of a drummer! I dont know that Klipsch is thinking about this, and I DO NOT speak for them
  19. If we still have it, we will be gald to send it... Call and they will get you what we can. I may even have it in a .PDF or .jpeg Email me at work and I will look. Peace
