  1. Gotcha. You maybe right on that. I remembered the KV had something to do with the CF Series. Thx for the info
  2. The KV-3 was my first Klipsch center! It was paired with CF-2's and sounded great. I believe it was made for the CF Series but I could be wrong.
  3. Wait till you see them in person. I think they are quite gorgeous. One thing I will say is that the front baffle and bottom plate are finger print magnets...similar to piano finish but I rarely touch my speakers so cleaning them every once in awhile when you dust shouldn't be an issue.
  4. Thanks, I haven't had an opportunity yet to move them into the living room to see how they sound. I just posted a video in the 2ch Thread. I know! It almost looks exotic. I sold the Forte III awhile back after deciding that my ears preferred the RF-7 II. I will be comparing them side by side to the RF-7 and RF-7 II though. Thanks, my plan is to make 5 or 6 videos of the RF-7 III. Just posted the first video I agree! That's what I'm most excited about. I know I prefer the RF-7 II over the RF-7 and RF-83 but am curious how the RF-7 III stacks up against the RF-7 II. I have to remove the DeanG crossovers in the RF-7 II first and put the stock crossovers back in before I can do any comparisons though. I will be gone all day tomorrow at my daughter's cheer competition so I won't be able to swap them until Monday night. I'll likely just have them playing constantly over the next several days for several hours at a time. Honestly I'm not much of a believer on break in time but there is no harm in doing it so I might as well. Don't worry, I got the guns! LOL I appreciate the kind words Shu. Yes, the LaScala Trio is here to stay. There was such a drastic difference between the LaScalas and RF-83, I can't see any of the RF-7 speakers ever taking their place for HT duty. Although the RF-83 were amazing for HT, the LaScalas just take it to a whole new level. That would be interesting for sure. If you know someone that has a pair that wants to bring them over, I'm down for a showdown. LOL The one thing I didn't like about the Cherry RF-7 II is there was no contrast between the Cherry finish and the Copper Woofers. The black really makes the woofers pop. Besides, I have to keep the grills on 95% of the time anyways. Glad you are able to make the GTG!
  5. Here is a look at the new RF-7 III Speakers. I'm looking forward to comparing them to the RF-7 and RF-7 II over the next several weeks.
  6. The RF-7 III arrived yesterday! Thought I would share some pics with everyone.
  7. Yes, this is exactly what I was describing. The magnet sheers off from the plastic basket, bounces around from the inside and beats the crap out of the drivers, tweeter and crossover. I'm not saying this happens on every shipment but it has been documented on more than one occasion.
  8. They don’t break from driving, they break when someone drops them on the ground. It’s called the law of inertia. Objects that are in motion tends to stay in motion especially when the baskets are made of plastic and the magnets are extremely heavy LOLThey don’t break from driving, they break when someone drops them on the ground. 9. Yes I removed and packaged both woofers separately and the tweeter magnet ended up breaking off. Would not have expected that.
  10. Yeah my ceiling is 10’ so in ceiling makes the most sense for me. glad you are liking the JBL
  11. I would think the in-ceiling would sound better than the upfiring speakers but I guess they provide a nitch for those that do not want to mount speakers to their ceiling or cut holes in it. Love your setup Johnny. Room looks great. What brand speakers are those? Thanks!
  12. You are correct Shu, rain doesn’t make a sound when it is falling but you can hear thunder from above or if rain is hitting objects that are above you (trees, roof etc).
  13. These were my B&W 601 S2. I believe the S3 have the silver front.
  14. I'm probably not ready to move towards ATMOS right this minute as it would cost quite a bit to make that jump. One thing I didn't mention in the video is most receivers cannot acommodate 4 ATMOS Speakers so I would need to purchase an amp to at least power two channels so it would free up channels for AVR to power the ATMOS Speakers.
  15. Ah thanks Dave. I feel a bit inadequate as I’m still new to the whole ATMOS Scene but have a basic understanding of it.
  16. Thought I would share my first experience in a Dolby ATMOS Home Theater. I would share
  17. This little guy really intrigues me. I didn't get excited about the Mavic, the Phantom 4 Pro and definitely not the Spark but the Mavic Air....my interest is peaked.
  18. My RF7 II have DeanG crossovers. The desire is to return them to factory crossovers for the comparison.
