  1. A .22 with a silencer is perfect for not alerting every squirrel in the woods when you take a shot ! !! Roger
  2. The United States Supreme Court has ruled on this and states otherwise !! Roger .
  3. THAT is NOT the problem, lack of disciplining people when they are children in both the home and the schools is. We have raised entire generations that have not been taught consequences for their actions. Roger
  4. Bull Shit !! I own many high capacity magazines and I have never shot or robbed anyone !! I can tell you have never hunted a ferule Dog Pack, Coyotes in abundance or ferule pigs. You ever seen what a ferule pig can do to a dog or a human? I guarantee you will want at least 30 rounds !! Roger My neighbors raised sheep and those feral dogs will kill for fun, not just because they are hungry. How many rounds you want in your Semi Auto if they were attacking your wife or your kid ???
  5. Claude, Machine guns are NOT illegal Claude, all it takes is a FBI background check, a class 3 liscense and you had better have real deep pockets !! Roger
  6. There is not one single "CLIP" in that picture !!!
  7. First, the Tarus Judge is a bad joke sold to non gun people that don't understand Ballistics !! Remington 12 gauge high brass 3 inch magnums only go about 1300 feet per second. A good pump BB gun goes 600 feet per second. Do you have any idea how SLOW a 3 inch .410 is out of that little stubby barrel? Do you think that will pernitrate a heavy coat in the winter time??? I hunt with an AR-15 and have for years. If you think I am compensating for ANYTHING, you are mentally challenged. My AR-15 has a 24 inch stainless Varmit Bull Barrel, a competition trigger, custom accurizing work, a $1,000 6.5 to 20 power variable Leupold scope and I custom hand load for it. I use it for Coyotes and Ground Hogs. Some day I hope to have an AR-10 custom chambered and accurized for deer and a Nemo Omen in .300 Win Mag for Elk and Moose. I already have two deer rifle in 7mm Rem Mag, one is a bolt action and one is a semi auto browning BAR. It friggin amazes me when people who don't know shit about what they are discussing think the should be able to decide what I can have and what I should do on my farm. We were using AR-15s on the farm in the early 1970s on wild dog packs that attacked the live stock. You could buy them at the gun store all day long for $200 after Vietnam... Also, locally, a lot of local guys will get together 5 to 7 guys, all armed with AT's and AKs or SKS's. They will post two guys, one at each corner at the far end of the woods. The remaining 3 to 5 guys will slowly push through the woods to push out any Coyotes to the two guys out the other side. Both AR's, Ak's, and SKS's being used for hunting. Roger
  8. Silencers are 100% Legal in the USA, requires a tax stamp, $200 I think and an FBI background check and sub sonic rounds. A silencer quiets the expanding gasses of the round fired but can't do anything to the sonic crack of the bullet if it is over the speed of sound, arround 1160 feet per second. Roger
  9. Claude, I have not gotten along with Jim in the past, a lot has to do with politics but I believe he is looking past the *** I have been to try to help me make something for my daughter, and THAT speaks volumes to me and is appreciated... Roger
  10. Jim, No need to respond to this particular post. Just wanted to say I truly respect you helping me for my daughter... Roger
  11. Thanks Claude !! My Son is 17 but he is Autistic and MRDD. Mentally he is only 2.5 years old, but he cannot have a conversation or answer yes / no questions. He has a handful of statement phrases he can repeat, like "That's yucky" He will come up to you and state a word or one of his phrases and only wants you to repeat to him, what he just said. That is his idea of a conversation and he is happy someone is acknowledging him. He will never be able to live on his own.... My daughter is 21 and is living on her own and going to College. I am under no disillusion in thinking she will want my seven big black TSCMs or my KP-600s when I die, and she will have to take care of her brother, but she gets everything anyhow. I want her to have something special that she will enjoy and think of my love for her, every time she sees it. I plan on taking her about 2.5 hours up into Michigan to Oakwood Veneer and letting her pick out what ever wood she chooses for Luther to do his magic to her speakers. I want one of a kind, nothing is off the table. If she wants Cocoa Bola, I will somehow make it happen, but this will be 100 % her choice whatever it may be... Roger
  12. Thanks !! That is one of my Daughters split LaScalas. The Jubilee belongs to Travis / DWI Lawyer, and the other two belong to Luther Ward. Luther veneered that Cornwall and three others in African Waterfall Babinga and is going to veneer my daughters speakers for her. I plan to keep all the trim and put it all back on after they are veneered. I already have someone lined up to polish and re Anodize all the trim for these... Roger
  13. Doesn't make a difference. The LaScala plays down to about 50 Hz., but is not acting as a horn till about 100 Hz and above. I am planning on crossing over to the sub pretty high for this very reason Roger
  14. Thanks for the info, but this is for a Klipsch Pro Slant Monitor Heresy. Don't know how I would add a port and don't really want one. I plan on having a horn sub built for her, so I am not really looking for low Bass out of these Heresy. Was more so hoping the K-42 would add more and better Mid Bass like the K-43 does over the K-33 for her LaScalas... Am I nuts in thinking / hoping for this Jim, anybody ??? Roger
  15. Jim, Thanks for the reply Jim, I have found a pair of nice K-42's and you have about as much Heresy experience as anyone.... Any thoughts on a better way to do crossover than the stock "E" settup in my daughters slant monitors ?? Roger
  16. Dave, I for one would sell your 400's and buy a brand new K-402 setup before doing all of that... Roger
  17. Hi Jim, I know the K-42 came in HIP's, was it ever in any non poeted versions of the Heresy or have you ever tried it out in a non ported configguration, and if you have, what are your thoughts on doing so ?? Also, the "E" crossover seems a little lightweight, has anyone changed the crossover points on an AA to be used in a Heresy or am I just nuts here ?? Roger
  18. Dave, TSCM stands for Theatre Stage Corner Monitor. They are a Klipsch Pro Klipschorn that were only sold to Movie Theatres through John Allen and I own Seven of them. The Bass Horn is completely finished so they don't have to be up in a Corner or against a wall. The Top Hat is separate, just like a Pro Split LaScala. The TSCM has a K-400 horn, but this K-400 horn has a 2 inch throat instead of a 5/8 inch throat like a standard Klipschorn. The K-400 horn in a TSCM has a K-4 splitter and mounts four K-55 drivers instead of only one like Klipschorn because these were made to be placed behind the screen before screens were acoustically transparent. The tweeter lens on a TSCM mounts two K-77 driver units. Go to the Pro Audio section on page 11 and look for a thread entitled "Feeding the TSCM feaver"
  19. TSCM by a lonng ways !! Realize that in a horn, the same diameter driver only needs 1 /10th the excursion to produce the same amount of Bass Output !! Therefore, a single Bass Driver would have more output at 1/2 the excursion than four of the same drivers at full excursion For me, I was truly disappointed in the KP-450s Bass, nor was that single K-60 driver up to playing with the four K-55s and twin K-77 in the Top Hat of my TSCMs. The K-450 did not sound as clean either ...
  20. All Seven of my Klipsch TSCMs have front mounted K-400 horns, and all Seven of them have their tweeter lenses front mounted stock, although each tweeter lens mounts two K-77 motors and each K-400 mounts four K-55 compression drivers.
  21. But really, the tweeter and mid are so close to being in time as to be indiscernible to the ear, unlike the mid and bass cabinets. Roger
  22. Good Morning everyone! Where is everyone buying their factory type dark brown grill cloth used on LaScala and Klipschorns from the 1980's and 1990's these days ?? Thanks !! Roger
  23. Why not just get a pair of TSCM K-400 horns then, they are surface mount with a 2 inch throat for better drivers or a K-260 horn, they are surface mount, 2 inch throat and go low enough to cover the lowest male vocals which are 300 Hz.
  24. Flush mounting them would increase the time alignment problem with the horns between midrange and Bass cabinets ever so slightly. Roger
