  1. I sent him a real offer . . . He never emailed back . . . Twice in 2 weeks.
  2. I think his last words after "edit" at the end of the post description will become his reality . . . And will get a $ wake up call selling them as separates.
  3. The big one is marked a THX of some ilk. The small ones have the connectors on the top? No idea what that is.
  4. Thanks for giving forum members a first shot. What a. Great front soundstage for someone. What are you going to replace them with in your own setup?
  5. Wow, Bob . . . had not seen those graphs before. Pretty clear result. Makes me like Poland even more! Have your experiment with a wood horn lense associated with your CT125 development? Love my pair of your CT125s . . .
  6. Nice pics and speaks, Hustler . . . Just to far from me. Nice setup too! What speakers are you putting in place of those cherry 83s?
  7. Post #2 in this thread is a helpful tutorial. Good luck. May take a little practice. @ http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/143905.aspx
  8. Actually, I need to correct myself . . . These belong to a fellow forum member, Kaiser Set Say . . . Kaiser already had a sale thread thread going here on the forum @ http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/175725.aspx?PageIndex=2 Now, he Kaiser has two, threads . . . One Kaiser generated, another generated by forum member Max2MC with a good search eye on eBay! [] A great looking pair of splits is a great looking pair, no matter how they come they come to light. Splits probably deserve two threads anyhow! Ha, ha! The more positive exposure for a forum member, all the better! Kaiser's splits are beauties! Good catch, Max2MC!
  9. Looking forward to seeing your pics, Hustler . . . Be sure to take some with the grills off . . . Looking forward to it. We would already be talking, but I am in Atlanta . . . Been lurking local to try to find some 83s . . . Never tried them, but want to . . . May not stick with me, so I have to find local to avoid monstrous shipping. I am sure you will find numerous interested forum members on here. 83s are great speakers! Good luck on your sale!
  10. If he wants forum bidders, you might get him to offer a statistically tangible discount for forum members . . . . The "maybe someday we will work a discount for a forum member after it is all over with" is pretty, well, ridiculous. If he wants forum incentive to buy, I would recommend a percentage discount stated here on the forum. What is forum help been worth to him? $5? $10? A specifics percentage off? Had that experience with some forum members here selling on eBay and it has been great. But never a "I will will figure it out after you pay, I will figure it out then" going to be taken seriously. Too bad he is not going to give forum members, guardians and lovers of special vintage Klipsch products a shot first. Well, at least they are saved from a local unadvertised garage sale and will find their way to someone, hopefully a forum member, to preserve and use the. As it is, I am one less potential buyer. But, thanks, Weber for the update and offer of assistance.
  11. Sorry for the bad experience, Mike . . . Explains why aI never hear back from some ads when I agree to pay the asking price . . . People email/pm immediately with higher offers than the asking price on a garage sale posting. Huh. Never realized that was going on here with some forum members. Learning something new every day. Nasty emails?
  12. Jerold . . . Cannot hardly believe they have yet to find a new home! Free bump. TTT
  13. Oh, yes, Budman forgot Coytee is in Florida too (and sundry other places), and can be a networking asset for you in your quest for K-horns! OP, keep in contact with him too. BTW, Coytee, is "Chopped Liver" the name of the album you are listening to? Did you borrow it from Thebes?
  14. In the OP's first post, he mentions he will put them on eBay and then ship them anywhere in the world. In his last post, pick-up local or he delivers only. And that discount if you win the bid as a forum members. Just mention it and you will get some kind of unsure discount. Yeah, right. He has had offers in PMs from forum members that he has rejected, period. If he has a sister, aI wonder ifmshenknows about the plan? Watch for an ultra-high first bid $ number on that some day posting . . . And don't forget when bidding, he might just remember how helpful this forum was and you will get that fast discount. The OP should read his own previous posts in the thread before posting again . . . To be trustworthy, consistency in your own posts is a must. All that hope there was a straight up guy who was gonna work out a fair deal with a forum member. Went out the window faster than any Pam a forum member sent. As Barney from Mayberry was know to say in an episode or two: "Move along, nothing to see here."
  15. Should not this ad be in Alerts section?
  16. iIRC, I think those towers of sacrilege were on sale on Craigslist for most of a year . . . Now they have migrated to eBay. I hope they go overseas in that shape at that price! I sure do not want to see them again! Maybe a Russian oligarch will pony up and spare us the indignation and that weird yellow stain on the grill . . . anyone who would paint those non-decorators white, might have placed them upside down . . . and then Fido . . . well, you know the rest. I only see one speaker in those ad pics. I wonder what the other of the pair looks like . . . No, wait . . . I do NOT want to see it if that is the good one in the pics!
  17. Love a win/win/win scenario . . . Happy seller, happy buyer, both forum members! Congrats to you both!
  18. I bet none of it is $25.
  19. Kind of defeats the purpose of staying around if you sell them, no? Keep them, fix them, and hang around. Next thing you know you will have amps and Klipsch speakers everywhere!
  20. I wish the Pony Express was running through Atlanta! Never had Cornwalls.
  21. Lloyd like walnut C style in nice shape . . . Seller says price "negotiable." Anybody going to take a look? Too far away for me.
