  7. I'm going to have to agree with Coytee on this one! [Y] ....and there is a guy who recently posted in this section about coming back to Klipsch, he missed the "Rich Klipsch Sound". Here's the linky---> CLICK HERE (opens in new window/tab). Dennie
  8. Wow! Kinda Krazy! I have a similar "ghost" in my system, but I know what it is, from my 70's CB radio days. Every now and then, I hear "talking" coming over my system. It doesn't matter if it is on or not. If I am listening to CD's or LP's or the radio. It effects all speakers in the house and even the two in the backyard. One of the teenage or early 20 year old kids in the neighborhood, has a amplified CB in his car and when he gets close, he comes over my speakers. Now it does not sound like Mexicali radio, it sounds like a young person on a microphone being an idiot. [8o|] I don't know if this is your phenominon or not, but I wish you luck figuring it out. Dennie
  9. Welcome to the Klipsch Forum. We're glad you're here! Dennie
  10. Hey Brian, You're not an Idiot, this stuff get complicated. Now, where is the switcher plugged it? Is it grounded? Can it be grounded? Try running an extension cord from a different part of the house that is on a different circuit. I am no expert, but sometimes EMI (electromagnetic interference) or RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) is introduced into the chain and causes havoc. If we keep eliminating possible causes, we may solve the problem and then I can bill you for it!!! [] [] Dennie
  11. Heck, if I keep looking at these beauties, I may end up bidding!!! [^o)] Dennie
  12. Hey Gilbert, if they are your DREAM AMPS, I think you should get them! It's just money, Right? [] Dennie
  13. Well, have you unplugged your internet connection to see if the "lines/noise" goes away? I would unplug one thing at a time, when the "noise" goes away, you have found your culprit! Dennie
  14. Hey Brian, Do you still get the lines if you run the HDMI Cable to the TV, bypassing the switcher? Is the switcher plugged into the same outlet as everything else? If you disconnect the satellite wire coming through the wall, do you still get the lines while watch a BluRay disc? I'm really thinking out loud, so to speak. I do not have a BluRay player or a switcher, but these things can have an influence on electronics. This question/situation may be better for the HT section of the forum. Let us know if this helps, Dennie
  15. I know what you mean. The Mackie's don't have the sense of Scale that the Klipsch have! It does make a difference. I think you should give your SS gear a try with some Heritage speakers and see how you like it. Dennie
  16. I'm running SS gear with my La Scala's and it sounds amazing. Heritage series speakers don't have to have tubes. Do tubes sound better? I wouldn't have a clue as I don't have any tube gear and I don't plan on getting any..........yet! That may change down the road, but for now, I couldn't be happier. I picked up the 1979 La Scala's in great condition, from the original owner for $1100 and replaced the crossovers for $300. The best $1400 speakers I have ever heard! Dennie
  17. That is a very clean looking turntable. Do you have any closer pictures of the Stanton 681eee? You know how we love pictures! Dennie
  18. Yeah, I think "young hippie" sound much better too! [:#] Dennie []
  19. Because your avitar photo looks just like this guy. I think he might have you on that one, Oldenough! I do see some similarities! [^o)] Now fess up! Was it you who burned the TT????? [] Dennie
  20. Lookin' Good O.E.! That stick on Vinyl looks great and if it sounds good, it is good! [8] Nice Job! [Y] Dennie
  21. Hey Mark, Good for you! I run a SVS 20-39 PC Plus Sub with my La Scala's and it fills in the bottom end beautifully! Let us know when you get it and your thoughts. Again, Welcome to the Forum and Congratulations on the Sub Purchase. [] Dennie
  22. Great! Lets hope he's hooking it up and giving it a listen. Dennie
  23. To the best of my knowledge, most subs pass the entire signal through to the mains when hooked up through the speaker wire terminals on the sub. My Bad, you are correct. Does your Sub have the speaker wire terminals? Dennie
