Okay I got PhotoBucket to work for me so here it is! My Cherry F2 set-up and my newly acquired C2 center channel. I couldn't get the flash right on the camera so the TV looks really bad even though it isn't. I think it sounds incredible in my small room even without a subwoofer. Well you would definitely gain more bass, a slightly larger sound stage, and if I might add my own opinion(seeing as I have heard both) the F2's just have that little edge you might looking for.

Knock Around Guys is the name your looking for. Alright here I go on the defense for poor old Vin diesel. First off I am a big fan of Vin and I own almost every movie he has been in. He is the kind of actor( kj5dq mentioned this)that caters to a new type of action movie crowd, not necessarily a young crowd. I admit that some of his movies... well, they suck. Give him a fair shot though. He is just not your cup of tea.

Well at the very last moment I changed my mind about the banana connectors and decided to go with Acoustic Research Gold Plated Speaker Pins.8 of them turned out to be cheaper than 8 banana connectors so I went with acoustic research instead.

I know the exact banana plugs your talking about. I have thought about getting them. They are a buck a piece right? I might do just that instead of some fancy ones.

Well yeah your right about the F2's.They do drop pretty low. I know first hand as I don't have a subwoofer either and I love the bass out put that these guys have. It sounds like a receiver problem though. A few months ago I was messing around with the DRC in my receiver and in some action scenes the front speakers would crackle when it was turned on. Don't know for sure if you are having the same problem but it's worth checking out.

I mean connectors. Speaker connectors to be exact. I have my F2's BI-amped and I am running 12 guage wire to each speaker. I already have banana connectors on the receiver but I only have bare wire hooked up to the speakers themselves. So before I spend any money on connectors what are your guys opinions on them?

Well before I got these speakers I did a lot of stereo listening but now that I have them its kind of a mix. 40% games,30% movies,30% music. They are 6.5 feet apart and my room is 9 feet wide,11 Feet long, and 8 feet high and I know how subwoofers act in a square room so that may interfere with room acoustics.

Wow that is a good deal to bad its so far away. I just sold an older set of 5.1 KLH speakers on Craigslist for $200 so if I bought that center it would pretty much complete my font sound stage. Although I think I am going to have to wait till I recover from my last purchase.

Thanks for the compliment James I really appreciate it. I think your right about the center. That's the direction I was leaning toward. As for the sub I was definitely looking at the sub-12, but the F2's drop really low so I'm not sure how necessary it is.

Well the title says it all. What is the next speaker in a home theater set-up I should purchase. I already have the two front speakers(Cherry F2)[]so what should I invest in next. It may be a while before I can purchase the next speaker as it may take some time to save up but any help ahead of time would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah can anyone say eye candy. They really look like nice speakers and Trey the grills are in perfect condition even had original packaging around them. I just coudn't be happier.[]
