No not here in Canada you can't, I have only ever found 2 sets for sale this is the cheapest I have found a set and they are $50 more than the RB-75's. Niether of these come up for sale here often, I see them all the time in the US but that means less than zero since they wont ship and if they did the cost of shipping is more than what a guy pays for the speakers.

no doubt the RF5 which has larger horn (same as the FR7 largest in the RF series) much greater range and dynamic capability. No contest between the two. The RB-75 and the RF-5 use the same size horn actually both 8", the RB-75 has a better/larger CD where the RF-5 has a tweeter similar to the RF-82 just mated with the larger 8" horn.

They would be going in a already setup (8 years now) home theater that run Rc-35/RF-35's

I do check out CAM from time to time, don't often see too many Klisch and those there tend to be pricy. Most generally won't ship, so you almost need to be in Ontario. The used prices I see on this forum for stuff in the States just makes by mouth drop. Great deals down there. I'm in Edmonton, and I feel your pain on the shipping and prices. Most of the good deals that can be found up here are in the Toronto area and they wont even ship this way at a decent rate.

Sensitivity averages 92.5 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz. Keep in mind that the RB-75 crosses over from the woofer to the horn tweeter at 2kHz so S&V's test may be a bit skewed. In other words, only the woofer is being utilized in the test. What about the sensitivity average from 2kHz on up to it's limit around 20kHz? Just something to note. Scratch everything I have said in this post if I have no clue about measuring sensitivity. Bill I'm pretty sure the mic is picking up the CD as well since it graphs the full range and you can even see the crossover point. pretty common among all klipsch except for cinema and heritage lines. I knew they stretched the truth a bit and measure a different way to "pad" the measurements but I wasn't aware it was that much. That's 4.5dB which is pretty huge IMO, I'm guessing this is a good reason to go DIY rather than buy into the hype. Wish the drivers looked better in the DIY stuff, I just really like the look of th Klipsch but might be time to jump ship.

Just ran across some close mic measurements of the RB-75, doesn't come very close to the spec sheet on sensitivity. Cool thanks guys, wife will even be happy to hear that. Well not really overpriced for up here, I have only ever come across RF-5's twice in the last 4-5 years looking for either them or RF-7's when I was thinking about going that way. They just are not around here in Canada.

Odd question but for anyone that has had these which would you choose for the front stage on a HT setup? I found a set of both and the price is within $50 for the pair either or, ($600 USD) I know they are both fairly good in there own right, I've never heard either and I am not sure a bookself would even be up to the task. These will be run with 3 JLW7 subs so 100hz and below isn't a issue.

It's not only the size of the Sub it's the displacement of that given sub. I recently upgraded my single 15" TC sounds (30mm Xmax) with a JL 13W7, the JL is a 13.5" driver but can out displace the 15" by a fair bit. I now run 3 of the JLW7's, the F113 has been said to out displace the Velodyne DD18 so really comes down to the actual driver being used.

Same here, after a ton of reading on this I think 4 ceiling speakers are for sure the way to go. I'll be installing mine within the next few weeks, glad I have a drop ceiling makes this so much eaiser.

This, if your not going to go for the RC-7 I would get the RC-62ii since it's not a taperd array it will use both drivers right up to the crossover. Wait, tapered? Like 2.5-way? Are all older RC's like that? What about the original RC-62 or RC-64? The only one I know for sure is not a tapered array is the RC-62ii, the RC-64ii is the next closest to it as it's crossover points are very close at 1100hz and 1400hz. Other than that the only center in the reference line I am not sure on is the RC-3, doesn't seem to be any info on that one as far as I can find. That's the eperience I've had with the RC-35, it's getting replaced end of the month. I'm not a fan. If you can fit it I would go with a RC-7.

Curious how would you compare the playback from the Marantz to a PS3? I'm guessing you had one before the PS4. I'm still using my PS3 and wonder if it's time to upgrade to a dedicated BR player.

Far far better option then the Quintets, I bought a set of those (the first versions) they were returned within 24hrs. Would be great for a PC speaker system but not much else IMO. So just wanted to update this with the outcome. I didn't get the pioneer since it only had a 1 year warranty which would have been only valid in the US, no help to me. I went with a Denon X4100W instead, has a few things the Pioneer didn't that I like plus it's a Denon and I really like my current one. The Audyssey XT32 Platinum looks promissing since it will do 2 subs and I can upgrade to the pro if I really think I need it. Auro 3D upgrade also looks very cool plus all the steaming options etc that I found the SC-85 doesn't have might be nice. Should have it in a few weeks along with a few Atmos speakers to bounce sound off the ceiling.

It is a great deal for sure, an just down the road from but. Unfortunately out of my price range He might break up the set, can always ask. The sub and center are worth his asking price in the Canadian market. If I were closer I would buy for sure, shipping pretty much right across the country would be killer though.
