  1. I believe that is where Class H, which is the design of my QSC, originated.
  2. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but...........JUDAS PRIEST KICKS ARSE DUDE![H] And I really thought everyone understood their place in the metal scene. And man Diamonds and Rust is such a killer tune! Thats just the accustical version. They did fire her up a little toward the end.
  3. KISS / Judas Priest.............. ..1979................ FT Wayne Memorial Coliseum ............. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Thats whats its all about. Glad you've been able to find enjoyment with your system. Enjoy! I too am one who finds corner reinforcement to be a necessity with rear passive radiators.
  5. Yes The DLS5000 VS the RSW12 The RSW12 is superior in any way you want too look at it,will dig deeper, cleaner output down low, better built quality and better(higher performing) driver used. One quality class higher. The Sub12 VS DLS5000,I have not compared them side by side. However from what I saw on the sSUb12,the DLS5000 is of better quality(built) and will have more impact than the Sub12. Thanks Ear.
  6. Hi John, Thanks for the reply and the offer. Figures something to be a little fishy. Would have been a great grab for a Klipsch fan. Sounds like the gentleman should have done a little more research on his speakers before heading to craigslist with them. He doesn't realize how excited he made alot of folks around the country with a deal like that. Thanks again. Randy
  7. Yes there is no doubt Steve, you are a metal head[] You really should pick up tools new album. IMHO it bests all their other stuff by a long shot.
  8. Anyone ever compare the Velodyne DLS5000R against the Klipsch Sub 12 or Klipsch RSW 12 with music?
  9. Don't know about the 101 or 103 Arky but I have a Luxman L-580 that walks all over my HK930. I am the second owner and she is in pristine condition.
  10. If you are interested you may want to contact the seller right away, via email if that is the only way. That is a REALLY good price. I wonder how old they are...guy still has original boxes and packing material???? Really is a heck of price. Hope someone here gets them. If someone wants them I have a couple of friends in Atlanta and could ask them to check them out and hold them. Atlanta is only about six or so hours from here, maybe we can work out some kind of "relay". Wouldn't that be great. For that kind of price it would just be a shame for someone here not to get them. I can drive a long ways but Atlanta is just a very long drive.

  12. nevermind. I seen that Coytee made the post and was thinking Nashville. Atlanta is going to be a little too far south.
  13. See a phone number anywhere on those? I'll drive my company box truck down and pick those up and maybe do some transporting for others needing help. Could probably drive down this weekend.
  14. AHHHHHHHHH. Thanks Fini. I wasnt looking close enough[]
  15. Your dreaming or just living in fantasy land[]
  16. Actually I believe Tigerwoodkhorns has owned both designs so maybe he will chime in on what his perception of the difference was.
  17. There have been some say that the class H with its switching is inferior for some reason or another. My QSC is an SRA 2422 and it also is 2-tier class H. My ears are attracted to sound which comes from this amplifier. Thats really all that matters to me. I have no idea of the science involved I just understand that it switches over 230,000 times a second and the class H design is intended to keep the heat down and less current draw from such a high powered amplifier. If you notice all the big QSC's seem to run 2-tier or 3-tier class H. But then again the class AB designs could be at another level sonically I just dont know.
  18. Not to change topic but hows things progressing for you and everyone down in Biloxi Fastlane? Have been going down there every year for vacation since about 1990. Last year was the first year we didnt make the trip due to all the devastation. Hope to be back this year.
  19. Marantz 2325 for vintage is excellent with Klipsch. And the HK twin powered line is a winner as well.
  20. Hey Wuzzer, I think you will enjoy the QSC to no end. I'm hooked on mine to be honest with you. Now I use an old Marantz 2325 as my pre which I absolutley love the 2325 as well. I imagine your HK will work fine as a pre.
  21. Looks great Craig! By the way I smoked from the age of 17 to 41 up to almost 3 packs a day. Got real tired of the cough during laughing. Said enough is enough and been smoke free for exactly 1 year now. Cold turkey. If I can do it anyone can.
