  1. Oh well, I wound up ordering one. Danke !!
  2. I did. The tubes the pins fit into are super resistant to crimping. Besides, who knows, I may come across a really nice TT with a P-mount tonearm some day. Or if I want to sell the ctg.
  3. It's not something I really NEED but one channel isn't working on one of my phono cartridges. Not sure why but the adapter for my Stanton P888s (P-mount) has loose wire connections coming out of the cartridge. I tried crimping the headshell leads but no luck. Lastly I spread apart the pins coming out of the cartridge but that kinda gives me the eebeegeebies. I can get a new adapter on line but I thought I'd try you guys first. TYIA !!
  4. https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/christine-mcvie-fleetwood-mac-singer-songwriter-dies-79-rcna59470 In the late 90's I had a second job for a catering company. We worked the executive suites that looked over the floor. We were absolutely dead (not busy at all) so you could say we got paid to watch the show.
  5. That's how Bob Crites set them up first time around way back when. It was later that he went with the shorter mid horn.
  6. If they still have their tags stapled to their backs. A picture of those will reveal a lot.
  7. They were listed in mid-Ohio a few months ago.

  9. On the TV show Graveyard Cars, Mark Woreman is showing Bill Goldberg around the shop after the reveal of his 68' GTX. During the tour Mark shows Bill the "Home Theater" that was put in. On the left wall you can see a large Klipsch Woofer (or poster).
  10. O.K., so it was $30. But it looks a lot better than what I made to do this 35-years ago....

  12. So, now that I've put my Yamaha PF800 through a tune-up (new Jico stylus, belt and re-touched some soldier joints) I have a question. The Okki Nokki Model One has done wonders for the old vinyl currently in the stable. You can definitely tell which album was played with the Shure V15xMR and which ones were bought used or used with my backups; being an Ortofon VMS30 MkII and a Stanton P888ss all mounted and ready to go in their own headshell). But my question is, is currently made vinyl as good, better or worse than old vinyl in terms of sound quality? In terms of the music being liked not withstanding. What say ye?
  13. Looking at Marketplace and then a few seconds later it goes blank.
  14. That many? I only needed 4 for my Cornwalls. I believe those are staples put in after the motorboards were painted.
