  1. TheEAR, figure you'ed chime in here. it's not a pressing issue but if ya find one tell me what you think! Thanks John
  2. I understand that the major players in Subland are the RSW series,Sunfire,Velodyne,SVS and some talk about paradigm. So I ask anybody listen to the Martin Logan Descent? and what are your thoughts? and what would be comparable? This Sub sparked my interest while listening to track 4 "The Vikings" on Pomp and Pipes. Any input would be great as well I would like leave the KRELL "454 Big Block" out of it due to cost restraints. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  3. Look at it this way at least it ain't crack! and it's legal ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  4. www.infocus.com they offer DLP which price is comparable with some larger rear projector sets and thats with a screen to boot. Just because it's not Runco or Yamaha doesn't mean their not worth a look. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  5. Had a similar problem when I picked up my first set of KLF 30's. Magnet simpley was not tightened enough on the back of the horn thus hand tighting did the trick so on the safe side we hooked it up at the dealer and no problems for the exception of moving them to my second floor flat! ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  6. Doubt they're B-Stock if they are beat up might be due to shipping. Have you considered doing a litte exploratory surgery? Remove the 8 screws that hold in the Mid Horn and check to see if the speaker wire is indeed hooked up or maybe one as come off. As well the magnet could have come off just reseat it gently hand tighten I believe they wrap the treads with teflon tape. As well I received a set of KLF 30's from UBID which one corner was a bit on the damaged side cosmeticlly (I'd say less then an inch where the veneer as been pushed up and out) it's not to noticable thus I debated on taking action but I got the pair for such a song including shipping I decided against it! Anybody else got any ideas? ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  7. You can also try Absolute Sound on 17-92 somewhere in Winter Park you could hit them and Skycraft in the same day since they're sorta close might be 30 minutes apart depending on traffic. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J

  11. Well I figure if Klipsch goes with a more flashy wacked out design then your talking big bucks to pay for the redesign etc so I hope they don't travel down that road but I'd like to them offer a better selection of finishes for the Heritage heck even the Reference series, Like Birds Eye Maple.. I've tossed around the thought of recabineting (is that a word?) my KLF's and C7 but I'm sure that's not as easy as it sounds. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  12. Speaker cable is in all essence Lamp Cord! just no fancy jackets or claimed exotic sheilding. just make sure it's going to the proper terminal +/- that is. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  13. Thirtyseven? that's what Dante said in a reply to a valid question plus he wasn't suppose to be here today! Clerks was made with a budget around 25K so not bad as well it was financed stictly by credit cards. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  14. Gang, If the sale is still going on the KLF 10's I think they're going for between $500.00 and $600.00 for the pair. So good luck on your quest for KLIPSCH! Bye, John
  15. Justin, Just make sure you don't run into "Miss Fortune" If I new how to add those smilies I'd toss ya one! Bye, John
  16. I checked the cut sheet you might what to have the seller double check the measurements. It might be a KG 5.2 but those don't add up to 42 inches. just fyi ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J

  23. Legacy's Focus that would be a good choice some of the older JBL or Altec models even ADS from the eighties would suit me. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  24. if space is not an option then go with Q's recommendation if space is a concern I'd still pick up 2 more 5.5's and grap a KV-3 or KV-4 for a center granted those are out of production but you might get lucky. You could scale down a bit and go for 4.5's for the rear. What type of amp/receiver do you have? ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
  25. I'm sure the R series will follow the footsteps of the KG,EPIC,KLF lines for something new and improved offering yet another exotic cone material using "Back Technolgy" from the Roswell UFO site. ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
