I'm feeling pretty good. I'll be glad when the androgen blocker shot finally wears off. I've probably got a few more months to go with that. Motivation is shot right now. I have lots of projects started and nothing finished.
Welcome to the Club...the list just gets longer then you die with stuff not done. At least that's how I see it.

So how are you, yourself and you?

Funny though when thinking of replacing/fixing things around the homestead..."This will probably last longer than me".But like the BeachBoys said "God only knows"

Prolly in O-HI-O you have much more forgiving water. Out here the water is so hard it ruins anything you throw at it and sooner then you would think(hope).

Well the KPT-1201 is certainly not a Jubilee. Which horns are on those other drivers? @Klipsch_Kid
-
@Invidiosulus How do you like that horn, STH100? 30 db down at 20 KHz? The graph is a little hard to read.

you must be one of the only,
Many used sealed or ported subs with their Klipsch horn loaded speakers. @dtr20 is not the lone ranger. Ideal ? Maybe not. Workable? Yes. Especially with the powerful DSP he has at his disposal. In sheer output the SVS sub will get over powered by the Jubes but at what level? Maybe dtr20 does not need that high a level.

I would have thought you would do it yourself...
not this time/not this project but thanks for vote of confidence. Same landscaper that built the columns for my driveway gate and a few other projects will do this one. He is reasonable price wise and knows what he is doing.
And @JJkizak before you ask they will put compacted road base under mine even though I live on rock.

I've got a jubilee speaker just sitting under my living room table I've got the horn with 6 of the kpt 250 cinema speakers I got then from the roll of dumpster outside of the movie theater in my 2 bedroom house I can only hook 2 up and they are still too much in interested in selling them but what to ask for I see the jubilee is going for 35k really and each one of the kpt-250's are going for $1900 really I mean I can kinda see it if the 2 I got hooked up are plenty for a concert I mean I never heard of klipsch until I found these I got video of the two hooked up in trying to post
Hey Klipsch Kid, what do you have? That you want to sell? Many here might be interested. Start a post in the 'Garage Sale' area. I'm pretty sure you do not have the version of the Jubilee that is currently being produced for $35k a pair. Are you saying you just have the 402 horn? That would sell here as well for sure.

The laundry and spare kitchen drain is independent of the rest of the house and drains outside. The below-zero and below-freezing for the past few days froze the drain at the opening, something that hasn't happened before.
Can you insulate it somehow? Expect colder temps in the future...it's global warming.
My backflow device froze solid a few years back...couldn't figure out for a little bit why I did not have water one morning. Next time it was checked it failed bent by the ice. Had to replace $500+. Damn straight I got an insulating bag before the next winter.

can I quote you on that?

If you've got one..tell us how much it cost. And yes have every reason to believe the new subs will be ported horns like the HLS-1802 (and 15) and the Heritage Jubilee.

I just don't understand the programming
You mean using XConsole? It's a bit quirky but stick with it, you will get the hang of it. It is A LOT easier than using the front panel controls.

ChrisA? OK you're good

You have XConsole SW? And a measurement microphone and REW?

Put 3 to 4 times the number of speaker wires in each position...you never know what you'll end up bi or tri amping...ask me how I know

If the finished surface is drywall putting rockwool in the wall behind it will do not much acoustically. It is good thermal insulation though. And yes I agree with other posts here the window needs a curtain/drape with several folds across the span that you can close during critical listening sessions.
But hey I'm no expert. I just know I made vast improvements in imaging when I installed acoustic panels and drapes in my listening room
