Sorry, haven't been on the computer much the last few days. Been out driving the Mustang. We've been having evening showers pretty much every evening, Dave. Other than that, the river is going down slowly. Getting better every day.

Getting rain just about every evening here. Average yearly rainfall is 52" for Shreveport. We are already at 46" for the year.

Thanks!!! I could have went darker with it, but went with what is legal in my state. It does really bring the look of the car into focus. IIRC, it's 46% on the doors, 35% on the quarters, and 18% on the rear window. Plus, I want the ladies to be able to see me in there considering I'm back on the market!

Not an Eco-boost, it's the V6. The ecoboost is more expensive. Plus, i like the sound of the V6. Of course, I love the V8, but couldn't justify the 5 to 6K premium on the the price tag for it. It was the only Blue they had in stock. It was love at first sight!

I know south of Shreveport. Many farms and their crops were wiped out by this flood. I know a lot of hay fields were totally destroyed. So, feed for the horses and cattle may be a little more expensive and hard to find around here this year,

There may still be some flooding in places. There may still be some homes that may be effected. But, not nearly as bad as the last one. There are still homes on the wrong side of the levee that have sandbag walls built around them. Don't ask me why they were allowed to build on the wrong side of the levee!!!

Right now in Shreveport the Red is at 28.2ft. Which is 1.8 ft below flood stage. But, it is starting to rise again. Predictions are 31.6 by Tuesday with a crest of 34ft. within a few days of that. It shouldn't flood the roads like it did on the last crest of 37.5ft.

Our sedan was a bottom level Genesis with a few options, and it has some road noise too, but the top model has different glass specifically for noise. On my 2 door I don't mind the noise as i like hearing the throaty rumble of the engine exhaust. Same here. Nothing more enjoyable in my Mustang than hearing the exhaust rumble!!!

I know ellisr63 got a new toy! Which, is really nice. Well, it must be contagious because I got mine this evening. 2015 Ford Mustang V6. I love it!!!! I've always wanted one. It's been a dream of mine to have one and it seems the time and circumstances were never correct for it to happen. The time was right and I got an excellent deal. I'm tickled pink! It drives great and handles great. Wonderful car!!!!
