  1. You may want to put up a FS / Feeler in the garage sale section. Pictures and your location are a big plus to get members to chime in on an appropriate evaluation and suggested sale price. Good Luck and welcome to the forum!
  2. LOL You're quite welcome but I only wrote a couple of sentences where as SubXero wrote an editorial. I think he deserves much more praise than me........great input dude!
  3. He'll pretty much give you his best deal but it never hurts to ask if he can knock off a few more bucks to meet your budget. Keep in mind also that he will be quoting a delivered price without sales tax as well.
  4. Like Beechnut said, you have to CALL Mike at acoustic sound design. Don't "add to cart" and place order online or you will pay wayyyy too much. We're both speaking from experience.
  5. We won't tell him but he may notice the guilty look on your face! [:#]
  6. You're welcome. There are a few new ones on ebay for decent prices. Good luck!
  7. I agree with Derrick that the VC-25 would be your best choice. My will power wasn't as strong as his but I did have the same system prior to upgrading to my current speakers. The V series sound awesome for their price point and I regret selling them instead of moving them to my bedroom. I did have to buy a KC-25 from BB as the VC-25 was nowhere to be found at that time. It was well timbre matched but I found a NIB VC-25 on the bay and was within my return period on the KC-25. Good luck!
  8. Good choice and welcome to the forum! As far as area rugs go, that is definately going to be more of a personal choice. I'm a sales rep for Shaw Industries and can suggest looking at our website for thousands of selections. We also have software that you can utilize and upload a picture of your actual room and "try on" different selections. We do sell to dealers only but you can search for a retailer in your area as we are a world wide company. Good luck!
  9. Back again............. Link Someday they are going to run out of these ! $999.99 Your Price: $299.99 With Promo Code EMCNEHH238
  10. Great option. One of my buddies installed beams in his theatre room to conceal some wires in lieu of tearing out his ceiling.

  13. Looks fantastic Nezff! I wouldn't change a thing but I do see an acoustic transparent drop down screen and projector in your future![Y]
  14. You're very welcome. I know you will enjoy them in a way I never could. Post some pics once you get things dialed in!
  15. Their brief stay in my lving room will be missed. They are now in the hands of another forum member that will truly enjoy them in a way that my set up would not allow. Only a few bucks over what I paid was more than adequate to see these find the home of a true enthusiast! Enjoy!
  16. You're welcome and thank you....good article!

If UPS gets it to you in tact the durability will be fine. The weakest link are the plastic pegs on the grill. All controls are on the top thru the digital interface but it is nice for me as it can be controlled with my IR remote for multiple user settings.

I also purchased 2 of these some months back from NE on sale. These are great for HT with my 7's but just so so for music. I'd say with your current set up that it will sound just fine. Worst case scenario if you are not happy is you could turn around and sell it for close to if not all of your investment.
  20. Picked up all yesterday. They are now securely in my possession. [] 1
  21. Once while attending a convention in Vegas, we drove around sight seeing and stopped by the race track. It was empty that day and quite a facility. We stumbled into the museum inside what looked like an industrial complex. It was so awesome to see and touch some of the vintage Cobras, GT's and current production models. They were assembling engines in the building next door and like you said all of this was free. Rest in peace Mr. Shelby.....your legacy will live forever!
