  1. Contact you local power company as so as possible. If all of your outlets are reading a +/- 10% of the nominal secondary voltage (typically 120 volts) so anything below 116 is an issue and possibly a bad/overloaded transformer feeding the building. If some outlets are reading low 90 to 116 volts or so and others are reading high 130 volts or higher you have a bad neutral connection somewhere which could be before your meter on the power company wiring/connections or in the main breaker panel. Based on your comments both issues could be occurring. Most power customer service centers are 24 hour operations. Call and if you get a computer VMR ask for a representative multiple time this will typically get you to a live person....good luck and turn off all of your electronic and valve gear.

  2. Members 8,441 posts Offline Posted 58 minutes ago I had a pair of Belles once that had crossovers that the old oil caps had just gone abit resistive. Back then Bob Crites just replaced the old oil caps with GE oil caps that were available at the time. I wish those big GE cans were still available. They sounded great.

The GE 97F series capacitors are still available. They are filled with a different type of oil and sold as motor start capacitors. Unfortunately the smallest size is 4uf and the selection is slim.

  3. I was at the Arauco plant in Chile a few years back. The plywood is made from Radiata pine which is plantation grown. The materials manufactured at the Aruco coastal plant were of good quality and finish. At this plant they made various types of plywood used for furniture and other wood products. At the time it was the largest producer of wood products in Chile.
