That is not a sub that is a very large midbass cabinet with not much output below 30Hz even eq'd and placed properly. It will have midbass output 40 - 80Hz in spades though.
I beg to differ. We got 20hz- 0db & 18.9 -3db with +13db @ 20hz PEQ on Xilica

Two units, $599...in as new condition. Less than 12 hours operation.
They're new, just out of the box, and look exactly like the above. Tested and operate per specifications.
I am a tube guy & bought these from Chris A on a whelm, Have not even received them yet, should be here 12/9. I am going to stick with my tubes. Selling for exactly what I paid Chris.

Seti,
I just finished the same amp a few months ago. I sounded great until a week ago when the left ch. died. Traced it down to the volume
control. I tried taking it apart and cleaning but it still did not work so ordered one off eBay but don't have it yet. It looks like you may have the same one. I also use the same Hayseed caps. I will post pics later today.

Yes, we are using 45 SET on Jubilee 402 horns and we love it. Plenty of power in a large room. For the bass bins we have McIntosh MC30's.

The unit with the 5 Multi Meters was my build. It has a 10 amp isolation trans supplying the top outlet with the variac. The 5 meters are because I am scared of high voltage! ⚠️ It is designed so I can connect to 5 voltage points under test with power off, switch on and see results without getting hands near danger while probing around. It is designed to where it only needs 1 ground connection, (to help prevent a rats nest) to DUT or more if needed, switch selective. Mike Beasley helped me simplify this concept.

That MC30 was not one of them but I had already gone through them about a year ago.
The green thing is a vintage AC&DC power supply with 3 Variac's, ma. amp, mv & AC/DC volt meters. I bought it from a old TV shop they went out of business for $50. I asked about it's history & he said it was built as a school project in the 1960's, back when they used to teach practical things. Oh it did have one broke DC meter which took me a year to find a replacement, but all is working now.

Me thinks we need to hook Mr. Medwin up with Mr. JefDC.
Imagine how much they could entertain each other.
I thought the same thing just before I saw your post. Now I worried, could I be getting more like you? 🥵

We have wifi for a whole house sonos system but I thought I read somewhere that sound quality is better if hard wired but I really am a newbie to all this. I want the streaming just for my 2 ch system.
We use node 2i hardwired mostly with Tidal but also have Amazon HD. We started with Wi Fi but had way too many drop outs, especially with MQA, the hardwired fixed that.

I should mention this room is very open with only 1 corner, no back wall until about 20 ft behind listening position. Other side wall is open for 5 ft at front, ceiling slopes on front wall from 9 ft to 20 ft. I don't think most rooms would need 13db boost at 20hz
