  1. I have a nice pair of Walnut kg4's for sale. Nice wood grain, very nice condition. All woofers are excellent. 1 small chip in veneer on back just above the info tag, see last pic. They are consecutive numbers and work flawlessly.
  2. I acquired a pair of the fisher XP95A 3 way speakers. They are really good looking speakers. one 15" woofer, two mid woofers and a tweeter. They need to be refoamed, not a big deal......unless the speakers are worthless. Everything else works fine, mids tweeters and the "acoustic contour controls". A couple of initial observations....no port for bass and they are vinyl veneer, not wood veneer. Any opinions on the subject would be welcomed!
  3. I certainly appreciate the thought! Im gonna go with wendell fabrics, seems like the best option.
  4. Anybody know where to find some decent cane style grill cloth?
  5. If you have the money I have the time....Lol. Walnut is a pretty expensive wood. The wood alone would be around $35.
  6. I appreciate the interest but I don't do any type of veneer work!
  7. Watco rejuvenation oil and 0000 steel wool....or smoked glass tops
  8. I echo previous comments. Cd's are small and convenient, but they are digital, stuff is missing. With the records, they are analog, its all there and nothing is missing! A clean record on a good turntable with a good needle and cartridge beats digital any day!! [Y][Y]
  9. I use white pine for these, ready for stain or paint. I miter the edges and join them with Gorilla wood glue and 18ga brad nails. If you prefer squared as opposed to mitered I can do that. I will fill in the brad nail holes with wood filler. The holes are predrilled and countersunk. If you have wood floors, let me know and I will throw in some felt feet. These are 23.5" w x 14.5"d x 2" tall. I can make them taller or shorter, whatever you want, send me me a message. If you need risers for any other speakers, as long as you want the white pine the price will be the same, just message me with dimensions. If you prefer oak or any other kind of wood message me and I'll shoot you a price. These will get your speakers off the floor, protecting the bottom edges and corners from vacuum's, etc. I accept paypal only. I have included a link to my ad on ebay. I have 100% positive feedback with well over 200 transactions. You can buy through ebay or message me here, (I prefer here, no ebay fee [Y]), and I can invoice you. Feel free to ask questions! 10. I used a Marantz 2265 with my Cornwalls until the "got to have more power bug" bit me. Now I use the Marantz 2265 as a preamp with a Hafler DH-200 amp. Marantz sounded great, Hafler amp really opened them up though.
  11. From Bob himself!! I hope this forum serves to help others at some point!!
  12. Yea man! I just talked to Bob Popham on the phone. He said that amp is a wicked thing and when bridged it pushes way beyond 200wpc, closer to 260wpc he said. He did confirm a 'y' would be needed and he also said that the connections on it were reversed, bck was positive and red was neg. Very odd. I sent him a pic of the rear of the amp so he could look at it and jog his memory to verify what he was telling me.
  13. Wow!! Awesome!! Thank you very, very much!!
  14. Oh man....somethings wrong with the amp. I tried it 4 chan, 2 chan, every way possible. I hooked my onkyo amp back up just to make sure nothing was wrong with my preamp outs on the Marantz and the Onkyo functioned flawless. Now I have to decide to fix or sell as is. Thanks for your help though!
  15. Reference Series Center Channel in great condition. Grill is not pictured its just fine cosmetically but the top left tab on the back of the grill that inserts into the speaker is broke off. Asking $160. I take paypal and if you need it shipped we can work something out. I get a good shipping rate through my employer. Im in Central Arkansas. Thanks for looking!
  16. Wow....poor Rod. Lol. That had to have been humbling.
  17. I don't know whats stranger, him stranded on a bicycle or them stopping and having a damn bike rack. Regardless....what a story. http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/15/showbiz/dave-matthews-hitches-ride/
