  6. Yes it does have a power light i put a rotary switch on it and i didnt have it turned on.Also be sure to check out Radio.net.I have been listening to that and sounds better then cds.The stations over sea have much better sq.There are a few audiophile jazz and other stations that play at 320kbps and dont have have the commercials.Really enoying it.Did i mention its FREE..
  7. I like this its low key i am going to hide it in my rack so you dont see anything but the light so you know when its connected? Its for anything that is 12 volt so i just found a 1 amp charger for like a tablet and spliced it in.i plug it into the plug in the back of the reciever comes on and off with the reciever.
  8. I got this from crutchfield 39.99.Do these come with like a dac chip in them or something?
  9. 6ft rule was being sarcastic.....i would not have shipped big cabinets through ups to begin with that is bonkers would have used someone else,I used Uship to get my klf 30s and chorus ii from south fl to north fl with no issues.
  10. I just finished up installing the JL audio Bluetooth receiver. I found this on you tube and tried it out.it works great and can really get bluetooth on anything that has spare rca input jack.I am using the aux on my Sansui. With that said i found a pretty kool app on my phone with some good quality radio stations from around the world.I cant believe how good it sounds coming from my phone... crappy Lg phone. Its an app called Radio.net.It is totally free.I searched jazz blues dance and it shows the station and where its coming from along with the kbps. There are stations all over broadcasting in 128-320kbps.The US stations are really slacking here.anyway wanted to give all you streaming guys a heads up on this..It may be old news to some but its new to me...lol.
  11. Hey Guys I kinda work at the UPS warehouse and yes ups will try their best about getting out of claims, hence why they like people to take there stuff to the UPS store. They tend to blame stuff on not being packaged correctly. With that being said i tell people to pack it so it can withstand a 6 foot drop...sad but true and always get insurance.I try and buy local or drive to pick up my own stuff.I cant believe the way some people pack and ship stuff. Also to add all package company's tend to damage stuff.USPS also uses fedex and Ups to ship there stuff as well they call it shared post i think. So just pack the hell outta stuff and follow the 6ft rule and you should be good.
  12. Hello Loneshark I am glad you are in Jacksonville I am too.I do have a few pairs of Klipsch speakers and i have a Jolida 502a tube amp as well.I would be more then willing to let you come over and we can tinker with stuff.I am by no means a audiophile but i do like music and Klipsch.I have heard and tried lots of speakers and equipment thanks to the suggestions of people on these forums all with more knowledge then me.People here are helpful and let me know if you would like to meet up.I have had Quartets,Belles and Lascalas.I have some Hersey and Chorus ii and Klf 30 now and alot depends on the music you like to listen too.Hit me up would like find someone around here that likes and understands the whole audiophile chase to great sound...Plus it would be nice to know someone who possibly gets some new Forte iii...lol
  13. They look good for someone local. Why cant i find these at my Goodwill https://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Klipsch-Forte-II-Floor-Speakers-36616462.html

  16. Hello deol33, First off i want to let you know i am no expert in the audiophile world. My terminology may be off a bit too.I usually read mostly on here and dont post much.I have met Willland and thats about it.Anyway i have Herseys with the thicker horns and recapped x overs unknown caps , Quartets, Chorus ll and.KLF 30. I have also heard many other Klipsch speakers Belles, Lascala,Hersey ll,Epic Cf3 v3,Kg 5.5,I think imho room sizes being 10x 11, 12x16. 15x20 i think the Chorus ll is an all around ok sounding speaker.I listen to all the same types of music as you.It has good bass and good highs. Now i also like my Hersey too because i and the wife liked my lascala i had but sold them... Kinda of big along with the Belles.I preferred the Belles wife liked the lascalas. she says the Lascalas sounded like they were in front of you singing.I feel the Hersey,Belles and LaScalas do better with a good sub and thats why i like my Hersey sound they are kinda like the in between of the lascala and belles...kinda if that makes sense.I feel the Quartets are kinda bright when pushed as the same with the Hersey and klf 30..I have powered all the speakers with my yamaha 2095 and a carver 4.0t amp...375wpc chourus ll loved the power as did the klf 30 not so much the hersey. And thats about it for my input on my stuff...I never heard fortes but if they sound more like the chorus ll then the quartets they may be better the better speaker which is what i hear anyway. Also i have a Jolida 502a tube amp which sounds great with the klipsch.Well i hope i helped ...lol i hate typing and was bouncing all over the place. Also the Hersey have upgraded x overs and all my others only have only the bob crittes titanium tweeters. I live in Florida near the shipping ports and there is a shipping container company that goes from Jacksonville to Cambodia.I have been thinking about thinning out the heard but dont know the first thing about packaging and shipping speakers...But send me offers on the Quartets and chorus ll.The quartets were factory black but there was walnut under the black so off it came. The Chorusll are a golden Oak.They are bothe in really great shape and are consecutive serial. If we can work something out i am more then willing to help you out but i dont know your Budget $$$$$$$$$.
  17. Ok my daughters softball team is heading to Cape Coral Fl for the State Finals 13-14 yr olds. I have a pair of Quartets or Chorus ll for sale and will meet up or deliver depending on location on my way down to Cape Coral from Jacksonville.Prices will be 375 for the Quartets and 900 for the Chrous ll.Quartets were black till i found the birch or maple finish underneath.Chorus ll are very good honey oak matching #s.only one small ding on the top rear of 1 speakers very minor.both have the Crites *** tweeters. At work posting this so i dont have pics but can get them tonight.i will be going down thurs nite. Can send pics http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/ele/5677534463.html http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/ele/5677490323.html Thanks Greg 904 553 2610
