Hi, I'm interested in your Paradigm Subwofer although it does need refinishing.  I watched the others get sold on Ebay and they were clean and nice and you have an Ebay guarantee.  So whats your bottom dollar?  One guy got ripped off bought it (it didn't look that good either) and it didn't work; then I saw it on an audio set for $80 for parts.  Do you have pictures of tops and sides?  How are you at packaging and shipping?

Just a friendly FYI . I'd have thrown it in the trash before responding to this

  3. Many of us heard and saw Jason's Table Tuba at a Chicago GTG . It was beautiful and the sound was excellent.

If I still had my Belles ,that is exactly what I would do.  All I have now is bunch of black speakers

Any chance you could move the right channel speaker over more so that the distance from the sides of the TV are equal for both channels...then center the center over the TV?  It will anchor the sound to the proper positions much better if you have the space.

    He's abosulely right .

It's awesome that for the past 40 years you've been able to enjoy the results of your own skill and labor. I know if it were me I'd be beaming with pride each and every time I cranked them up! (Unfortunately I can barely nail two boards together...)

    Amen to both

  6. My first Klipsch experience was in the late 70's at a (High School) Party . There were a pair of Khorns playing and i was mesmerized. I don't remember anything from that party but the Khorns  . Went into an United Audio store in Chicagoland (1994) and found some Fortes playing , decided I would save up and get them. Stopped in regularly to visit them and finally had saved enough to get them , went cash in hand to find out they didn't have them anymore but they did have KG5.5's listened to them and bought them on the spot . Lived with those for 2 Channel for years(My daughter is still borrowing them). Fast Forward to mid 2000's I join the Forum become addicted , buy many Klipsch ( Sell a few and regret each sale) . My dream was to someday own Khorns which has not happened but I'm pretty happy with what I have :D

That might be the best score ever . I am officially Green with Envy.

I had a pair of  Belles for about 4 years and loved them. Had to sell them for my next upgrade . I still miss them and wish I could have hung onto them . Some Day I'll get some back :D

  8. Your dad has room on top of the entertainment center to fit almost whatever center he wants, a larger one would have a better chance of keeping up with the Lascala's and help hide that hideous banner  I have not heard any reference centers except for Derrick's RC64  it was great between his RF7II's but I have no idea how it would sound with Lascala's.  I have heard a KLF C-7 between Lascala's  at Michael Colter's and it sounded really good . I will throw out 1 center that I know sounds great between Lascala's  and that I used for years before switching to another Lascala as a center , its the only non Klipsch speaker I've owned in the last 10 years(Besides Subs) and that's a Boston VR12 Center ,they can be had used for around $200 . Just some personal expreriences that hopefully help when contemplating your situation.

  9. 05 Chevy Silverado Quadcab Z71  5.3 Bought new. 195,000 miles currently

Tires , Brakes , Batteries , Oil Changes , Shocks at 120,000 and a waterpump last winter.

I've driven newer Fords and Chevy's they all do some things better than this truck but allaround  I prefer mine, especially handling.

I've also driven a 2013 Dodge nice looking but hated it.

If I had to by new , The Fords are the best looking but I would have to dig deeper . FWIW my mechanic has the new F150 with the Ecoboost and raves about it

Last photo is of my ampsandsound Stereo 15 Special Edition, which made it's second appearance at our GTG's, and once again many, many compliments.....Gary tried to make off with it again, but we grabbed him out in the street......

I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those Dam Kids

You brought that thing in like the Stanley Cup , I think I even saw white gloves . You brought security (Brandon and Mark) as well , I stood no chance but there is always next time !

That Amp really is sweet !

Thanks for hosting. REALLY impressed with your system. Never heard RF7 II 's or Atmos  before and was not expecting to be as impressed as I was with either one. I though Atmos might be gimmicky but it reminded me of going from stereo playback of Movies to 5.1/7.1 I really liked it  ! Glad I didn't bring my sub would've been like pouring a glass  of water into the ocean  . Really nice group at the GTG ! I could spend weeks in your basement ! I found it very comfortable and of course that setup made it really enjoyable.
