  2. I have a saltwater pool and I just changed the motor, I have everything hooked up right ,no leaks or crazy noises, but I can’t get the pump to pump water from the pool.I filled the primed the pump and still no luck, I even took the lid off the pump and turn the pump switch on and it pulled water from the pump toward the filter.I then filled the pump again and still no luck, does anyone have an idea.
  3. Cincymat does your Klipschorns have any upgrades,I bought a pair off the forum last year that has the 2” tractrix horns, with crites CT-125 tweeters,k-55v solder plug minds and crites a/4500 .I have enough pieces to upgrade my other pair the ribbon mahogany pair, but I just can’t bring myself to mess with that pair.I am originally from Central NC and we loved the NC Coast.
  4. Yes, I bought this pair in the spring from a guy that was selling them for His Church,a lady donated them and I was lucky enough to be within a 4 hour drive. He listed them on this site and I was looking for a pair in Ribbon Mahogany with AK-4 crossovers.

  6. I had the same issues with my k-55m midranges and thanks to members of this forum I was able to use their advice to fix the buzzing issues.I just added a bead of silicone around the backs of the midranges and let it dry overnight and the next day when I played them the buzzing was gone.
  7. These were like that when I bought them,I had heard great things about the 2” tractrix horn and they do everything that people have been saying about them.

  11. I just finished running a small bead of silicone around the backs of both k-55m midranges, the one midrange that rattled was loose and it would move as I turned it from left to right.I would to thank everyone for their help.,I hope this takes care of the problem. The Klipsch forum has been a blessing and a curse, the blessing is seeing that I am not the only one that has an obsession with Klipsch speakers, the curse is before I found this forum I only had a pair of Klipschorns, since finding this site I now have 3 pairs of Klipschorns,3 Lascala II’s,1 pair of Belles,1 pair of Hersey’s and enough parts to completely mod 1 pair of Klipschorns with Volti mods and last year a set of Jubilee clones popped up on the site last year and if the seller would have lived in the US I would have made the 10-12 hour ne way trip to get those. Thanks again to Kornukopia and MookieStl and congratulations to MookieStl on the blues winning the Stanley Cup,I thought the newspaper had jinxed them.
  12. What type of silicone did you use and did you just add a bead of silicone around the back of the midrange and push down on the back or did you have to remove some of the screws.
  13. I just checked and there was no gasket between the horn or the midrange on either speaker, I am surprised that only 1 midrange has the rattle.
  14. I have a k-55m with a rattle,I can put pressure on the back and the rattle stops, has anyone had this problem and if so is there a way to fix it without replacing the midrange.
  15. The seller gave me 5 of them ,I have some round felt pieces I am using but they are thicker than I really want.I will try the plastic disc tonight to see how they look.
  16. The speakers have the AB-2 crossovers, I was thinking about upgrading them, but now I will just use them as they are .The glass tops turned out nice.I am a little concerned about any noise I could get from the glass when I play the speakers at higher volume
  17. Picture of one of the Belles after I painted the glass black to cover scratches
  18. Dave, the closed backs and the 2” tractrix horns are the real upgrades that makes these speakers world class, throw in the crites A/4500 crossovers-and the ct-125 tweeters ,plus what most on this forum are some of 5he best sounding midranges that Klipsch ever used. K-55-V and I find myself wondering why I have these speakers listed for sale.
