I have owned two Cary products. Years ago I had a hot rodded version of the SLP-98 in Jaguar red. It was a beautiful preamp. It was very romantic sounding and not very transparent, a little soft too. I didn't keep it long. After reading all the glowing reviews of the SLI-80, I bought one of those last year. I didn't care for it at all. Poor dynamics, slow and plodding. It didn't do anything to offend, but was very bland. I moved it on out the door in about a week. So I guess you could say my track record with Cary products is not very good. That said, I did hear a pair of the AES Sixpack monoblocks in my system and thought they were excellent. Shakey

I have had a Crimson 275 for almost three months now and I love it. It's very holographic and tonally neutral with just enough tube goodness. I highly recommend it. Shakey

They run cooler than most tube amps. But I would not grab one while it's running.......

Well if anyone is interested, this amplifier is the real deal. I got one in on Tuesday and have been listening for a few hours. This damn thing is great. It is very small and light, two things that concerned me. But those concerns were unfounded. It is very dynamic and holographic. If you are looking for tube power in the 75 watt range, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.

I have a used Decware Torii Mark II for sale in good condition. This amp comes with a matched quad of Mullard re-issue EL34s and a brand new pair of JJ 6922s. Power rectifier tubes are stock. This amp has a gain control on the top panel so it can be used without a preamp. 25 watts/channel. This amp was a very good match for my khorns. Asking 1400.00

I have decided to sell my 1976 Birch Klipschorns. The previous owner installed a laminate over the raw birch. I know that sounds funky, but it was a very professional job. The only negative is that the side grill covers do not match the other grill cloth. I was going to buy the cloth from Volti and redo them, but never got around to it. I have installed Volti Audio VX crossovers (500.00) and these were a very nice upgrade. There are no scratches, chips or otherwise. Very good condition overall. I am asking 2000.00 which is 100.00 less than I paid for them in June of last year.

Are these still available?

No, not at all. Just a speaker change (upgrade). I'll be moving the khorns on to another home. Don't really have the space or the need for two pairs of speakers.
