This might be a wrong idea......   but I’d like to see the national guard deployed to administer these vaccinations. I think they need a simplified command route to distribute and deploy this stuff. With the guard it goes from source to dispensary to the people. Giving IM injections is simple. Now we’ve got too many outlets, too many routes, too many promises and too many chiefs and things are getting bottlenecked, botched, lost and wasted. Simplify it - use the guard IMHO.

Couldn’t agree more. Too many ways for the current system to break.

Well, I paid $6000 shipped for my P-38F last May and these are $9000.  So, I'd say around $3000.  🙂

I have 21 Palladium speakers, 20 in use in systems and one P-17B in a box since it's partner is being used as a center speaker.  Listed below are the three Palladium system that I have.  I'm on the lookout to replace those last two KSP-S6 surrounds in the family room with P-27S.  And if a miracle happens and I can find another P-27C for that system I guess I'll finally ditch the piece of furniture that can only accommodate a vertical center like a P-17B.

    Nerd Cave Theater (Basement):
2 x Klipsch Palladium P-39F Towers for Front Left & Right
    1 x Klipsch Palladium P-27C Center
    2 x Klipsch Palladium P-27S Surrounds
2 x Klipsch Palladium P-37F Towers for Rear Surround
2 x Klipsch Palladium P-17B Bookshelf for Front Heights
2 x Klipsch Palladium P-17B Bookshelf for Rear Heights
    1 x Klipsch Palladium P-31W Subwoofer
    2 x VMPS Original Subwoofers

    Family Room:
2 x Klipsch Palladium P-38F Towers for Front Left & Right
1 x Klipsch Palladium P-17B Bookshelf for Center
    2 x Klipsch Palladium P-27S Surrounds
2 x Klipsch Synergy Premier KSP-6 Rear Surrounds
    1 x Klipsch Palladium P-31W Subwoofer

    Office Music System:
    2 x Klipsch Palladium P-37F Towers
    1 x Klipsch SVS SB-2000 Subwoofer

    WOW!!!

And my wife thinks I have a problem....

    very nice!

This may be true, but don't those belong on a Lansing/JBL forum? Drifting a little away from the OP Involving LaScalas and their components, room placement, etc. is one thing, but don't you think it's not cool to show so many photos of non-Klipsch product where they don't belong on top of being irrelevant to all the points made before?

Drifting away from the OP's original post? This thread did that a hundred posts ago.

Frankly, posting three photos of other speaker brands is a breath of fresh air.

     Relax Cincy

The post has more to do with impressive graduation rate Northwestern has and what they have accomplished.

True. It could be players leaving for the NFL or it could be programs that look the other way when it comes to academics.

Most schools do. Some are worse at it than others

BTW,  Michigan has a pretty high graduation rate. They also send a bunch of  players to the NFL every year

And yes. I do feel better😀

    Go Nerds!

    I’m totally relaxed.

    Glad you feel better.

  6. WoW! You throw a two year old article at the Bucks ask some sort of, boy do I feel better moment?

Maybe it's due to the large number of juniors leaving the program to earn millions playing pro football?

    Kids —

You’ve fallen off the edge, sorry

Dribbling bourbon while drinking is a sure sign of old age or senility - take your pick

Cincy, have you no shame? Playing up to Chief Bonehead is beneath you —

Caught me there. My Chief Bonehead signature Heresy's demand some Bonnie every now and then.

Oh, just because I'm younger than you doesn’t mean I don’t feel your pain!

the next time I'm in NC will also be my first time.  Spent a month in Yorktown, VA once; but didn't do any traveling in that area.

don't feel bad, I've had bourbon ON me before ... I'm one of those that can't eat or drink without spilling. And being in your age group, if I haven't learnt not to spill by now, I don't think I ever will. But looking on the bright side, we're old enough so people won't frown on it as much anymore.

NC is nice. Bourbon on the beach is real fun. Find your way here.

oh, had to change my shirt before going out for dinner tonight due to bourbon being on me instead of in me. Sh1t happens. We learn to deal with such things.

True. Your wife and 2a3’s do not make a good combination. I imagine the nCores’ keep her Happy —

We'll find out soon enough. The H3's aren’t quite the blasters my old LSIs were. Might have to invest in some Klipsch commercial gear.

Nice to read a post from you! Hope all is well.

I have a pair of LSIs, a super old but trusty 5.1 Denon AVR and the Sonos Connect. It's amazing how the old gear just seems to pile up. We need a "garage system" thread. Many times when I'm done with a project I put a folding chair in the sweet spot and listen to garage music for a while. Now that Roon is out there I've ditched my 100 year old ipod from feeding the AVR....no more .MP3s that always bothered me knowing La Scalas were getting .MP3s😎

My old garage system was a set of LSi's I restored. Loved it! Moved to NC a year or so ago and am just now getting around to having a garage system again. Garage is too small for LSI's but I do have a subwoofer and a set of HIII's. That should work. Nothing better than hanging out in the garage having a beer or two and listening to music. Being able to tap into my Roon setup is a major league plus.

If you have any old speakers and gear(amp/integrated/AVR/ect.) I picked up a used Sonos Connect for $75 on ebay. Dead simple you will need to have Cat-5 or WiFi range in the garage. The connect is really handy when you already have speakers you like and some way of powering them. If you need power they make one with an internal amp as well. They were expensive new, but now that new version are out they are pretty cheap used. They also have optical/coax digital out if you want to hook up a better DAC and use it only as a streamer/bridge...but if that were the case I just use a RPi, RoPieee and its USB out to  your DAC.

Thanks! That's exactly what I need. Already have integrated amp and speakers.

  14. @rplace, what would you recommend for an inexpensive Roon endpoint? Need to set up my garage system and it's been a couple years since I’ve researched this.

I run a modded MAC mini for my Roon server and have two systems feeding from that. Really enjoy Roon, it's a superb interface. Bee a subscriber since they released Roon.
