  1. I'm uploading now, but it sure is slowwww.
  2. Here's my two cents since I have both, emotiva and iNuke amps. I have the iNuke6000dsp amp on 4 18's, and its a beast. The emotiva XPA-7 runs the fronts, center and surrounds. The UPA-700 runs the ceiling speakers. Have never tried to run the subs on the emotivas. The iNuke has the dsp which helps to make adjustments as Scrappy is suggesting.
  3. Scrappy, since you are "The Klipsch Plank Meister", It would be only fitting for Metro's to be "The Flex Meister".
  4. Is this the song about driving a chevy to levie?
  5. Demoed my system for some friends tonight and they couldn't figure out where the bass was coming from. I said awesome! that one of the requirements I was trying to achieve.
  6. Did he make any suggestions and or improvements to your sound overall?
  7. Plug them into different circuits and find out without calling anyone first. Yes, good advice. Just use extension cords.
  8. For me, it seems no matter what I get into, it's never enough. My wife says it's too much and describes it to people that haven't listened to it as "stupid" loud. Lol.
  9. So, probably not suitable for HT when expecting to get into the low freq? Stick with the 18's!
  10. Just downloaded it. First time ever using it and I'm sure I didn't do it correctly:
  11. I've been looking at these as well and wondering the same as you, if it would be good for a HT application? Metro, how good is the opportunity??
  12. I think that has been "photoshopped", unless she has a pair of socks stuffed in there.
  13. My ultimax's flex more than your HT-18's and my baltic birch is lighter than your MDF and I have polyfill too yet they don't budget on carpet. What's this flex you speak of? Lol!!
  14. I now have the boxes strapped in and very tight to the front wall. But, the components are feeling the affects.
  15. I'll get something from HD to put under the feet of the equipment to isolate them. I'd hate for that huge amp to fall off and crash to the floor! Ouch to the checkbook for sure.
  16. One note: The rear 2 subs are stacked on top of each other and on carpet. This don't move at all.
  17. The more I think about it, I believe it's due to the fact that these 2 boxes are on 2x8 framed pedestals, wood on wood, not much friction compared to sitting on carpet?
  18. I only turn it up to that level when testing and or demoing it.
  19. I have removed and weighed, it's only 3 lbs +/- an ounce or two.
  20. I'll open one up and remove the stuffing to weigh it properly. The anti vibration pads are a good idea (Iso-Cube Economy Anti-Vibration Pad)
