  4. I tighten everything and it still doing the same thing. Not sure where to go from here. Don't want to buy another speaker. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. The red cable is a little loose. I think this could be the problem. When it vibrates it loses contact. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. The sticker says 200watts. I did notice this discrepancy when looking at pictures of the same speaker. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I did already. Receiver Still shut off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I think you might be right. I'm going to open it up tomorrow. It's rated at 200 watts so I'd figured it could handle some heat. Guess it wore out. I turn it pretty loud. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Hello everyone, I need some help. I power the rc 3 with a yamaha S 201 stereo receiver. Im running this speaker alone. I use it for work(loud shop). I've been using it for a while and today it just shut off, the receiver . Thing is that it will power back up only at very low volumes. If i turn it up, the receiver shuts down. When i turn it back on it displays "Check SP Wires". So to double check the issue I brought it home to hooked it up to my A-1050 AV Receiver and it played to moderate volume and then receiver shut off again. The speaker has bi amp capability so it has for connections. I don't have the original bridges so i purchased some jumper cables, this was the hook up in the shop.. at home I tried the bi wires I have hooked up to the RP 280's and it did the same thing. I tried to rule put everything possible and it seems to be the speaker. Speakers sounds in tact when it plays for the short time. Also it played for a while before this happened.
  10. Too bad it has no 4K pass through. How good is it for music? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Canare 4s11 is pretty good too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. thanks for the replies.. ill just let it be for now..maybe down the road
  13. So cross the mains at 80hz too? Even if the specs say they go to 33hz. Same with center channel? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I do have a sub. I was just wondering why the auto calibration does that. I have my mains at 40hz Center at 60hz Surrounds at 80hz Presence at 80hz Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Every time I do ypao on my yahama A1050 it sets speakers to big, all of them. 2x Rp280---2x Rp 250s---1x Rp 450c---2x ks 525 thx and 2x R 14m(heights). I know each speaker should be within its frequency response which is best done when speakers are set to small and manually adjusted. The yammy allows for this to be done for each speakers individually which is a very nice feature. So why does the auto set up ser them to large? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Same here. I just purchased an rc 3ii for work. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Curious, how much you sell it for? I never see any of these post when I'm looking for speakers [emoji30] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Vintage Nikon lense. Room was dark and I used no flash. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. I have them bi-wired and I did notice a small significance in the highs. Not day And night. I'm pretty happy with how they sound right now. I was just wondering if bi amping would sound better. I have them powered by an adcom power amp. The crossover detail confuses me. Do I need to buy another crossover? Would it even be worth bi amping. From your experience? The yammy does have a bi amping mode but that's for when you use the surround back Channels for bi amping. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Yes, Yamaha. It does support it but I'm not sure how to do it. I don't want to blow anything. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. I have the 280F powered by an adcom power amp hooked up to A1050 Av receiver. I'm not sure how to go about it. -Do I get a smaller amp for tweeters and more powerful amp for woofers? -How would Interconnect to receiver once I bi amp? -Could I use my current power amp to bi amp? It has six channels. Which I'm using four to mono my mains. Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on these for my garage now that warm weather is around the corner. I have noticed There a little hard to find. Does any one here own a pair and if you do or have heard them, can you give me some input on performance. I did read on a few reviews that there not as harsh as other klipschs. I have the 280's in my LR for music and movies but at higher volumes they can be a little harsh. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. I just wish we had a high end audio retailer around here. It's like they almost don't exist anymore. A place where you can see and try out some real gear. Without any retailer bias. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Yea it was pretty crappy. They had some decent deals sometimes. Not much going on though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. No, they only had the RC 25. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
