I was not at all a fan of Romo on the field, but I think he is doing a good job in the booth and I don't miss the cranky Simms at all.

i agree. It is interesting how Indy went from a yearly playoff contender to bottom dwellers with a coaching and GM change. It was the perfect storm to have to let Peyton go to get what we all thought may be the next coming of one of the best QB. We now have a decent GM but Pagano has to go and should have already been gone but he has a sentimental relationship with the city as we stood behind him while he battled his cancer. Bruce Arians is the best coach we have had since Dungy, his talents were realized while he took the helm in Indy during Pagono"s temporary absence. But we let him slip away.

I am heartbroken. One of the rare artist that I liked nearly everything, if not all he did.

The Devil went down to Arkansas, He was looking for a soul to steal Then the Devils little helper had a clear concoction that helped seal the deal Do not worry Mr Devil, I never forget a good friend who gave me a great deal and the subsequent arrangement.

I have a pair and agree with everything already said here. I think you will enjoy them and the fact they are a bit more rare will make you appreciate them even more.

Ruoff is at least an Indiana based company. But the entire name just doesnt roll off the tongue, Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. Maybe Ruoff Music Center, in this day and age of smart phones it would be easy for anyone to look up what a Ruoff is. Kind of like Great American Insurance company not putting insurance in the name of Great American Ballpark so it has a decent name instead of a horrible advertising name. But Klipsch sponsoring a music venue was just a great match. I still call it Deer Creek all the time. I don't mind showing my age.

I never heard the details as to why. I was hoping they would name it something like Deer Creek, oh wait.

Luckily I found the PBS "The Vietnam War" on demand last night as I missed the first few episodes and did not want to start in the middle. I watched the 1st episode last night.

That car is a very well engineered and built normally aspirated Buick with a single 4 barrel carb Track and weather conditions were not ideal and the car was having trouble putting down the power at the starting line. 60 foot times were 1.15 sec which is .07 off its best. Car did run 8.321@160MPH

Functioning is the key word. It brought in a little air but it was more for looks in my opinion.

Another weekend at a different drag strip. This is not the nicest strip by far but it up close and personal. The 37th annual Buick GS Nationals and all but one of them has been in Bowling Green, KY. This is my 23rd consecutive event. Bowling Green is home away from home.

The one in Greenfield? I was on a first name basis with those guys back in the day. Come to think of it the one at 106th and Mich Rd burnt down but they rebuilt it. A really nice guy owns it.

Just so happens for me it was a Speedy with rice at El Rodeo for lunch today.

I remember the Happy Hudy TV commercials when I was a kid during the Reds games and at Riverfront Stadium

Zinzinnati is a great city and this is an awesome event. Some schnitzel and a potato pancake with a cold beverage sounds perfect but unfortunately I will be in KY.

The one thing I have learned from around here is that when a house has to be torn down from a tornado, it is not because of wind damage. It is because of damage received from a large tree falling on it.

KT Tunstall (oh hell NO)
-
Yes they did. Drew Skillman and JR Todd event winners with Bo Butner winning his first round matchup. It was cool to see 3 generations of Skillmans racing. Grand dad Ray running an 8 second FS car and dad Bill running an even quicker FS.

I would like to visit the rock n roll hall of fame sometime. Also sorry I posted this in the wrong thread and have since moved my US Nats post to the car thread.

The US Nationals powered by Klipsch. This time Klipsch was not the loudest sound producing device at the party. But they are both music to my ears.

I remember the Motion Performance V8 Vega kits.
