  1. Well buddy think that since I'm on disability that the being out of work as a caregiver (if that happens) won't count. Can always wish & maybe we'll start getting the paycheck of that invader that tried to get my mom to pay her freaking taxes!!! TX is trying to hunt that biaat#@ down.
  2. Heck no @Randyh got mine done for less than $700 with a primo half off ultrasound and an on sale spinner from vinylstack!
  3. That cleanervinyl site has all the info and linkage you'll need to go from novice to well informed and what to look for. Degass-ing can be accomplished by running it for five minutes. A sweep function will prevent "hot-spots" from happening by varying the frequency 3khz or so constantly. 40khz isn't the best for LP cleaning but its affordable and does a fantastic job with Tergikleen.
  4. Didn't even notice it this year, but love that song @billybob!!
  5. Read just a while ago something like working people put out of work through no fault of their own. Makes sense but darn..... I don't qualify even though I've been inconvenienced financially and day to day.
  6. & I'm taking the junk & solicitations straight to the recycle dumpster, putting mail on the hall tree instead of the kitchen table. Then discarding the envelopes, washing my hands directly above the trash can under the kitchen sink. Might have stated before.... I'm not playing with this crap!
  7. wasfox run from Londonstan with paul bin ryanbulag in charge just doesn't care for the actual news that could help us. I was surprised that he was cut off.
  8. They're working on it! Found it earlier on the pc...news without commercials! Got my fingers crossed for all of us, & that this drug doesn't go up 600% in price like my zinc lozenges did. Did not look into the fella talking to her or any further. https://www.citizenfreepress.com/breaking/doctor-announces-remarkable-results-of-coronavirus-treatment-hydroxy-chloroquine/
  9. Hydroxy-Chloroquine!! First it fixed malaria then arthritis now the wuhan bug. (that's where it came from, I'll call it what I want, they renamed it once) Got a half pound of those tablets here since she has rheumatoid markers found in her blood. Used to take ten a week now seven. So enough for me if I don't find any contradictions with my coreg or something else.
  10. Just can't follow that one with anything......
  11. Landed here & thought about you @BigStewMan , hope you get your starter for that fund soon!
  12. & what it has wrought all of us also @JJkizak
  13. Again started by posting in that excellent vinyl thread started by our friend from down under @Full Range. Found some imaginative videos by a YES fan a while back and just clicked on the artists name...... there is a lot in that mind of his or hers. WOW! If you were alive and listening to FM in the early 80s this should be familiar to you. Open the caption under the video on this one ✔️
  14. So my first foray into something different than Aerosmith & Skynyrd & Ted was this one that I had heard when some of us were "expanding" our own dimensions. I hung onto this after I had let some of my other favorites go and was rewarded with some excellent staging of it all after I cleaned it up recently, got a couple pops but it does beat that mfsl cd by a decent margin when it comes to the sounds back here. If you know `em you know them. How do you like that Direct Metal Mastered Moving Pictures @Dave1290 Wish I could replace my whole RUSH collection with those they are so amazing!
  15. My life sustaining Rx just switched to generic... we'll see. I was told that the non active ingredients could change the delivery of the Rx to us thus making it not as effective. This happened with a lot more than just our drugs. When was the last time that you bought towels that did not fall apart in less than two years. I mean ten sets for two people, wash twice a week cold water dry forever with low temp like the tags say. And four or five hundred wasted as they change colors and unravel. My Cannon Royal Velvet towels made in Kannanopolis, NC lasted from the mid 80s until about 2005 or so and they were washed in hot water dried on high temp and only had six sets I think for all those years. Never had a stain on them, with the help of the fake detergent there are makeup and girl goop stains on all of these I've got now. NAFTA destroyed the mills here in ACC territory. The cotton threads like denim and everything else too. Tens of thousands put out of work and all I've ever heard about are the steel workers and the rust belt up north of here talked about by the politicians and the talking heads. Over and over. Did they ever notice that 501s are thinner than tshirts now! Or maybe they think it's OK to spend $500 every few years on f'n towels. Reagan was the first I voted for and he signed that dam*ed thing didn't he? *Sorry `bout the rant. The subject of our manufacturing being destroyed from within really ticks me off. Vote for whomever will rebuild our ability to self-sustain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The Other Discs

So Lenny's doing the drums now too!! New Stuff Like that very talented guy a lot. He was the "house" band for lack of a better term for it played about 250 + nights a year for several years downtown here at an old beautiful church turned into multipurpose entertainment venues. Spirit Square was/is ? it's name. That was just prior to his big 90s hits that he had.
  17. I picked up a couple gallons of the real deal "Regular" bleach a couple of weeks ago. This whole place needs pressure washing and a machine won't fit in the Honda that she "Had to Have". so I mix the TSP & bleach in a bucket and use a big brush on a stick and turned the front walk +steps and back entrance from almost black like the asphalt to almost concrete looking last week. That used a whole gallon. I could not find it in any of the stores the other day so I'm not starting on the back patio and walk and upper slab until I can get more that would take two then another to go over all of it again to maybe get it the rest of the way to looking pressure washed. Still have that half gallon in the laundry untouched, don't need more than that usually.
  18. Got a case of warehouse Del Monte Blue Lake not messed up french style sliced. What else ya got besides yellow corn?
  19. I remember Mike & the Mechanics from long ago radio. Didn't know he was the one before the one I have changed channels because of.
  20. Been busy, missing out too since my "E's" stopped coming from here again early last week. Gotta say, like that Steve Hackett a lot better with that guy singing!! BOC! BOC! BOC! & I'm not imitating a chicken this morning!
  21. slow people to follow right now circling around the swamp
  22. Hello Mr. @KROCK Curious about that dark ominous tone arm. Do you have one of those thread cleaners hooked up running prior to the stylus rolling through? Lots of Yes fans here, KC too. I'm finishing the laundry for last week, cranking the pc for a couple of hours with the ABWH concert I've already tucked away in my collection. Bellissimo ! @dirtmudd
