  1. Definitely dancing music! Sounds like the stuff my mom's mother would make her upright sway back and forth with, long ago but remembered.
  2. We've had a break from the rain and wind today and 60 degrees again too! Rain is coming up from the gulf again though Tues - Thurs.
  3. @BillCraig JC it's unreal around here lately. That magic fluid is a nickname it was given here. When it involves wiring and now apparently Deoxit type chemicals folks like to bash things that they know nothing about. I had a shuttle engineer roommate down at the cape and was exposed to some interesting things there at the Space Center and stuff brought home for projects. There was this 14K gold tape that just mesmerized me. Not in a shiny, flashy, dollar-wise way but it's real purpose. That was heat reflection, and on a 106 degree day it was evident what it could reflect off of the window of the camper. So lots of things aren't evident to the uninitiated at first. The need to bash someone over something misunderstood is unnatural to intelligent beings and as I've seen on the www also a mental issue. & I have had my coffee already
  4. Did you just pop in here with a bad mood? ... I did elsewhere last night but it was provoked. That's not sarcasm, what you've posted is willfully ignorant and rude. It's actually one of the shorter threads here so read from the beginning about this gentleman's experience on different levels that he took the time to share with us. Chill.
  5. Bright & clean looking listening area with that fascinating stereo rig front and center. With the ten point bucks above looking on... mine are in the yard although it's just been the does and young ones the past week.
  6. They'd sold out by then, we would change channels when that came on, it was nappy like the knack song was.
  7. The time has come for you my friend To all this ugliness we must put an end 70s rock lyrics b*##tch
  8. You'd have to be one of us @oldtimer s to recognize this from the LP backside. Was and is good ol R&R, these lyrics have a little wisdom too!
  9. Sure they had some softer compositions but that wasn't on the sheet music here! It was all pulse pounding and forceful stuff.

    Free JimJimbo

frozen steaks? I don't get it.
  11. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Peaved at them for not getting at least one real goalie. At least bring up Ned from my town and we'd win a lot more and probably still be in or past a wild card slot.
  12. Couldn't fall asleep to busy russian marching music as a four year old!
  13. Guess you did not grow up with a concert pianist playing pretty stuff to put you to sleep when you were young!
  14. Moonlight Sonata played by someone trained to impart the emotion into the keys is one of the most remarkable pieces of music written. We got some sunshine for an hour or so early today then the gray is back rain forecast all week except today. You could guess what I'm relaxing to this afternoon, if you can't it's rock in one of it's forms! Think this form is mushroom tea with a little GA peach:
  15. Had 22 outside the kitchen window in the 7:00 hour. Already knew it because the heat had run twice since I got up at 6 and started moving around bringing that cold draft to the thermostat. 10am now and almost 30, yep we've got winter today down south.
  16. Wolf Trap huh? Love to see that on pbs on a Sunday evening!
  17. Whaaaa? gettin' code here if it's canollis and you've got coffee.... TWO! If that Rush is one of their DMMs those are impressive with the separation and sound-stage.
  18. We've got permanently moldy `round here I think. I will have to find a way to get a pressure washer here this spring or earlier, can't replace all the cement for $9.99 like that plastic tank above! Supposed to get a cold front?? tomorrow. Winter - like weather for 24 hours instead of four months. 60 - 70s rain, rain, rain. Insert LZ's The Rain Song or LL's Wicked Rain or whatever you want. Got good coffee, I'll live through it.
  19. Same thing that I thought, even though I think that woman is bright having heard her deductions and summaries before. Also think it's a mainstream news outlet even I think they're wasfox!
  20. Foxy business lady gives Trade Adviser Peter Navarro a hard time. Asks pertinent questions! https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/maria-bartiromo-china-knew-that-they-had-coronavirus-before-sending-delegation-to-white-house
  21. It's the stuff that Tide and ever other kind of laundry soap That Worked was made with: Tri Sodium Phosphate. Mix it with real bleach to spray over what you're pressure washing wait five then hit it and you're done. Last time I bought some at a paint store it was fake I took it back and they exchanged for the real thing. It said imitation or something like that in the small fine print on the back. Why bother selling that if it doesn't work!
  22. Imagine you've found a way to make real detergent not that salt crap HE stuff that doesn't work on grass or mud. Did you use TSP?

    The Other Discs

I was in my 30s and in great shape didn't wear shorts then at all, they got me all up my leg in two seconds flat! Don't ever step in that cedar ground cover plant in the south.
  24. Heck of a lineup bald guy with the stick men is on a few of my records!
  25. That is one of Grover's best!!
