  1. For my bud in oh that thinks FL & Clemson can leave the ACC even though the acc would still own their rights for years to come :huh2:

A Sunday afternoon kind of bliss for some of us, a gem I came across yesterday.

  2. Beautiful day, feelin' Minnesota though.

Been through a lot already on that yt you have to babysit now... too many commercials for it to be worth a damn!!!!!!!!!

    Except for stuff like this:

John Mayer doing his part in tribute to Jerry!

  3. Had to go into town today, and these guys have been in the ride since before the trip Monday.

Bluegrass breaking all the rules? Bluegrass tweaked to progressive? Bluegrass on Steroids?

It's an enjoyable listen to break through the rainy days!

What you eatin there Willis?   You have literally been cookin!  Dining with Della Brown cranked?  😂  Whew!  Some good stuff right there.   :)

Beef, onion, chili powder, green bell, green jalapeno and cayenne pepper, tomatos, kidney beans, garlic, cumin, paprika, s&p

    * by the way, tagged 115 db several times with that cd, lows around 89. Clean and clear as a whistle, wonderful bass that negates the need for a sub in here too! I would not want to color what these woofers can do with anything else. The textures in the bass... wish I could have found a 1440 of Jeff Becks "There & Back" when I tested the 15 inchers last night!

  5. See there have been some lookers

That amount is just a starting point, and a seller isn't going to lowball himself! Especially with a good product.

What's the worst that could happen? I counter with a higher amount?

just the way I rock & roll

  6. Been through a lot of tunes since last evening. Got to my third copy of DSOTM (the cd) then. Some Depeche Mode that these speakers make come alive!

Then this band that sometimes makes more calm songs and sneaks them into their albums

BTW, @JohnJ NOW I know why you asked if I had any Dom Martin while you were here.  Won't be long and I WILL have!  :)

Used to really dig Ted's tunes, still Dig`em, on my vinyl!

You'll have to order from the UK his small label only ships from there, Discogs can't even do this guy's catalog. Catch the new one here now, but the other one ^^ is better... my 2 cents!

  8. @ebaer Well...

If you decided to go towards better lifelike sound?

Been using RP-600M IIs with an SVS SB-3000 not micro for a couple years. Can control it with your phone.

Have box for the bookshelf speakers but not the sub, I bought both new.

Just listed the RPs for $450 but would sell the sub with them for $1k (it cost that by itself) If you're not too far away from me!

  9. You might have heard me call these my baby Klipsch. Well because of their size, not the sound. Got them when this version came out a couple years ago and knew I'd be moving again soon. They sound articulate as Klipsch should, have way more bass response than they seem able to produce due to size.

Placement in corners for the rear port to exhale... that is why you have to play with speaker placement when you get a different pair.

It can and will make a difference especially with a rear ported speaker.

Pick up in the Roanoke, VA area... I can meet you.

Or can ship in their original shipping box.

As close to "Like New" as you could get. NO Sibilance! No scuffs or scratches!

The Cork mat on the bottom keeps them from crawling across what they set on!

    $400.00 cash or paypal

    Awesome!

There are some really great speakers out there in the KP line.

And that's not even cranked up yet with the little 100wpc hybrids that I have!

win11 media player on 70 pc volume on 50, all outputs win resets to 100 I dial back to 88 before I use it for music!

  11. Acquired yesterday. Drove through those eerie amber colors of that eclipse between Knoxville and Nashville to split up the trip.

Actually these have a well respected provenance! I'd have to check before I laid that out.

@Dave A refurbished these prior to the last owner!

Been a long time since I've have Klipsch that would crank! These do it so articulately and with a lower than usual frequency response that I disabled my SB-3000, it can only be adjusted down to 30Hz. The K-48-Es trounce that without a problem.

The double pleated shades & latex pillows won't cover this environment for this so I'll be taking care of that next.

    Not sure without checking

Was that cover banned for something?

Somebody told me that here a couple years ago.

Think they said it was because of the front page of that now messed up newspaper. Sounds plausible, and it isn't clear on the yt vid so I'll take that as confirmation it was the reason!!

  13.

    Sub?

Who needs a sub with six inch tubes in the ports of your KP-301s... and these Go Low! Not sure if they can do soft and sweet like the Heritage can. More furniture will help only so much. Oh and the pillows need rearranging

  14. Not what I would normally to play first with new equipment.

It would have been a Pink Floyd LP of course.

No problem: The Klipsch KP-301 was made to ROCK!!

  15. Thanks @revrseat70.

Was nice to meet you and hear about these and others, appreciate your hospitality.

Wish I could have stayed longer, that eight hour trip you know was part of it.

This guy is one of the good ones, answered all questions, had what he said he had... past tense because they're B) MINE! All Mine Now!
