All good. The seller made me buy both amps or neither. Haha. Didn't have much of a choice. I will fire it up with the subs today and hope it will be a keeper. I am certain it will best my PLX amp specifically for sub duties. Damping factor is 6 times higher and the power supply transformer is massive. Amp has solid, dense weight to it. I agree with the above points you made.

They don't strike me as that kind of folk. They have traditional full time jobs. This is their side hobby that both are clearly quote passionate about. One, or both will fit in nicely here me thinks. I tried the K2 on my KP302 last night for a bit with some friends. I gotta say, I prefer my old class A/B Crest Audio VS900 amp on them over the K2. I KNOW the K2 will kill that amp on Sub duty though.

Haha yes. I was going to say that. I think he means XLS. But that is the bottom of the line crown pro amps. The Macro line would be more along the lines of what the K2 was, especially given its 2k price tag was back in the late 90s.
