  1. Well good luck with that one, can't help you there haha.
  2. Don't know how much cleaning they will need.... But I sure hope you enjoy them.
  3. @Emile, I found the perfect vintage system for you. Easy days worth of stock pennies. They might even have two for you. https://www.audiogon.com/listings/lis94fd9-marantz-10b-home-theater?utm_campaign=Saturday_Email_20180929&utm_content=saturday_email_20180929&utm_medium=email&utm_source=zaius&zm64_id=c3Bpcml0b2ZyZXZvbHQ3NzdAeWFob28uY29t
  4. I'm surprised there was zero interest on this one....
  5. Please share the great deals LA scalas when and if you see them in CA. Would appreciate it.
  6. Now THAT is vibing right. Congrats man, looks and surely hope it sounds awesome.
  7. Haha it's still silly money when it goes to zero. After all, it is only a problem if you want to take that imaginary money out, pay taxes and put it in your wallet.
  8. I don't know, but maybe you wouldn't feel so bad if you sent a few of those bottles that surely you won't get to my way?
  9. They are more detailed than the heresys. Agree in the low treble or high mids. I forget exactly where exactly now. I took advice on here and fired them straight ahead, no toe in and is almost eliminated this. I prefer heresys with subs.
  10. My opinion after owning both, go with the heresys, save that money since you already have subs. Spend some time blending the subs to the speakers and you will be well rewarded. Those rythmik are supposed to be fast and musical and should make an excellent match. In my ro and for my tastes, the heresys we much smooth. I would give a slight knod in SQ to the fortes, but they have a very narrow frequency band that bugged me. That pair of subs will fill your open concept room better and you will have much better control to dial in exactly what it is you want. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
  11. You are good! It isn't New York, but what would your second choice be (should have been your first)?
  12. Don't get me started. This is one of the most violent states in the nation with the strictest firearm laws (I work in an EXTREMELY VIOLENT CITY) . Research shows, the strictest states in the nation when it comes to firearm laws have BY FAR the HIGHEST violence rates. Get rid of the drugs, violence Will drop accordingly. OK I'm quiet now... Who said 2A?
  13. You lucky dog.... I would LOVE to own one of those. I won't tell you where I live, but I will say that I am not able (in theory) to own 80+% of the firearms currently available for sale in the US.
  14. You went against ebay.... SHAME ON YOU.... They will be sending their people to your house soon. Hide.
  15. Don't be confused. Just try modern gear for yourself. You might be even more confused after doing so.
  16. Chorus IIs at 295? That ridiculous. Grab them IMMEDIATELY.
  17. Haha yup, many of us within traveling distance would be there. Scratch that, change it to a UFC fight.
  18. For $500, you can get quality modern gear used... Just the way my mind works. My mind strangely thinks that 30 years of technology MAY make stereo equipment sound better.... Surely I'm wrong
  19. Late 80s Kenwood. Super cheap, reliable, sound great, almost for free. You didn't state what your application was.... I figure, considering what you are into lately, it is probably turning a tree into an outdoor sound extravaganza 👍.
  20. Increase budget SLIGHTLY if able. Grab a pair of heresys. You can get a cheap stereo receiver to power them if you are able. Someone on here.... Said something about selling a pair of heresy IIs for $300
  21. I am different than many here apparently. I appreciate more leads to gear for sale as well as members posting what they have to sell here FIRST. It's hard enough to find what you want for reasonable cost around where you live to being with.
