  1. strawberry! that's the other flavor I remember.Thanks?
  2. I remember some other flavors of Boone's. Those come after we "graduated". I wanna say that all we had was apple and cherry[?]. somewhere sangria needs to be on the list. Don't think brand is important. Not what we could afford. Night Train and Cisco.... wino wines?
  3. glad I survived those days what dis? comparing them to CW is pretty brave. https://tucson.craigslist.org/ele/d/tucson-vintage-domus-iii-audiophile/6986765510.html the price is right, are they any good?
  4. thanks? I almost forgot about that one...
  5. if we were really trying to impress, we would spring for a bottle of Lancers'. I just shuddered thinking about us splitting a 6 pack and slamming 3 cans... and belching foam...that was fun?
  6. Can't say I recall Boone's FuzzyNavel... of the choices. I think there was one or two flavors of Boone's at the time. What do I know? I was living in the sticks. I remember MD20/20, TBird, and Ripple... the others must have been high/er class. I about wrecked my car watching a wing-nut at DavisMonthanAFB doing a flat spin while in a "hover". Them vectored thrust planes can do some wild maneuvers. I've had a couple jobs working by the airport. When the AirNatGuard line up on the runway, it's by 4. Was in a soundproof trailer... yeah right...The sound wasn't bad. The pressure would shake your eyeballs. I was testing communications equipment. Not that important or technical. I was they guy that heard it. They were working on digital, now that I know how digital breaks up. At the time, all I knew, was it sounded like someone talking underwater, with bubbles. Talked to my buddy about the wedding. If there is gonna be any shock value in my appearance, it will be because I came in "civies". From what I hear of the guests, I will be low key wearing my sarong and robe. Bride and groom will be in traditional Lakota wedding garb... ribbon shirts and all... .... it will be interesting
  7. Record high temp is 117` in Tucson. It rarely breaks 100` where I live. Phoenicians can say that, too... unless the A/C goes down. They live indoors. We get snow twice a year [on average]. Too cold to grow oranges. Near enough cold to reliably grow apples. Freezes regularly in the winter
  8. you get that living closer to the ArcticCircle than the Equator sorry... feeling a bit SA this AM
  9. asking for a snow shovel will get funny looks here Jim, Do you notice a change in potency if you stress the plants for water during fruiting? I've heard that comes into play [to a certain extent. I know genetics matters] in some varieties.
  10. just checking cl the person with the RF7 II, RB81 II and RC64 II, is trying to sell the center for $850. Knocks the rest to $1500. Are we getting warm to reasonable?
  11. lol sounds like a typical itinerary for me the rain finally happened. Announced at 3AM by a light show and some healthy thunder. I'm stuck with the wife today. If it [the rain] comes good, I may have her tomorrow, too. Wonder if boy made to work. He works in Sasabe, too. Left out at 6:30. I have a feeling he's sitting at a wash, waiting for the tide to ebb. My guess is, he's can't get there or back. ...ever notice that nobody complains about thunder and lightning at 4AM? Light yer stereo up at that time of day ....
  12. Not agin seaweed tasting [iodine] fish. There is a particular fish, Ash colored rudderfish --- nenue in Hawaiian, tasted of seaweed. Good eating. Similar to crappie flavor I've had crappie from Michigan and from AZ... they have a characteristic flavor. It is a very clean taste. Not muddy at all. There IS a reason crappie and bluegill are called panfish.
  13. Crappie are OK eating. The ones I have had, had a different taste... kinda like seaweed. no complaints... but, I prefer bluegill... not red-ear sunfish [shellcrackers]. They are muddy tasting. They look very similar to gills. A world different in taste.
  14. function over form. I'd rather have a great sounding ugly speaker than a great veneer on a junk speaker. The latter is a noisy table
  15. slow news day sometimes the mundane can be made interesting .... and some days, not so... what you been doing? I'm drinking yesterday's Sumatran coffee and wondering if/when it is gonna rain. got 8hrs of "sleep" and was up at 3AM. Gave up on trying to find something entertaining and went to bed at 7PM. Wife was working. I wonder how she is going to act when she retires? She works 60 - 70hrs/week. I think I am going to be happy for having "the doghouse" and may expand it to include running water. Still shopping for better speakers [short putt. R15Ms are OK, sorta, but easy to better] for the doghouse...There is a pair of RB81 II for sale locally. Unfortunately, they are attached to a pair of RF7 II and a center @ $2400. https://tucson.craigslist.org/ele/d/amado-klipsch-rf-7-ii-rc-64-ii-rb81-ii/6972192231.html I could go crazy and really upgrade the doghouse system... get all of that into the doghouse. No need for the center, tho.
  16. if opportunity presents, sure me? I got lucky. Almost "The Golden Ticket".
  17. doesn't matter what you get... I still wonder what I missed jumping from entry level bookshelf to LS. No in between.
  18. actually.. Go ahead . Piss the neighbors off. Getting equipment upstairs is the challenge. I remember a thread on a member getting a pair of LS [or was it some MWMs?] up some stairs.
  19. how tolerant are your neighbors? and if you need help moving stuff upstairs might be more pertinent

That sounds like the instructions. 1 tablespoon coffee/ cup. 6oz is a "cup" of coffee. last trip to OZ, was talking to a young lady [of course], her boyfriend was a bodybuilder. He was saying he wanted some extra energy... Gave him a handful of beans to munch. No chocolate. Were still OK to eat.. beans? I don't take chances. I bring my own...
  22. Hit the ground runnin' this AM. Had laundry to run, the fluffy cumulus clouds are looking a little heavy. Went to the dump. I needed to go earlier this week, but we don't like going there when it's sloppy mud. stopped at the market on my way back. Vine ripened tomatoes! Bought 2. Ate one while I was talking to the gal selling them. Ate a pepper, too. Someone wanted to know if they were hot. No. She gave me the pepper and another tomato. She was here in the early 70's... left and came back We had some laughs.... the "good ol' days". Before pavement
  23. wash/wax my car? What? The dirt is protecting the paint from the sun.
